The flippant use of the word hero has diminished its meaning and its once special status over the past couple of decades. People perishing while doing their jobs was never the definition of hero.

Hero's are something we create to help us understand the horrible hardships and problems that we as humans endure.
In the end there are no hero's just ordinary people put in extraordinary circumstances.
