Don't really feel like saying much here; my viewpoints will become clear with added postings.I had some Catholic acquaintances from Ireland years ago and through them was following the "troubles" in Northern Ireland. One of them had a mother who was interned as an IRA sympathizer/suspect. I understand that the IRA has stood down. But, last I heard they had not given up their weapons. What is the status of that situation? Have they given up their weapons? Have they been given enough of what they wanted to end the hostilities?
