Welcome to all members of HouseOfPolitics!
My name is Walter and I am the new owner of HouseOfPolitics. The former Admin didn't have the time to manage a forum and today he agreed to hand over the site to me. I think that it's the best this way as even the moderators hadn't the chance to discuss topics with him or propose changes.
I know, for nearly all of you I'm a stranger, but I hope this will change. A brief overview: I have plenty of experience in handling forums (currently running about a dozen), I'm 40 years old and interested in politics, photograph, books and much more. As you maybe already noticed, English is not my first language :)
As I hadn't much time to prepare this please bear with me, the move of the site to one of my servers was a bit hasty and not all things work as they should but this will be corrected soon.
What will happen in the next few days?
I will sit down and talk with the moderators
Upgrade of the forum software to the latest and securest version
Installation of a new and better Spam-Bot prevention system
Be assured that I will visit the forum at least once a day and that I will do my best do further develop the forum and keep it a friendly place.
