I watched the "Des Moines Register Presidential Debate: The Republicans." The debate itself was one of the most boring and uneventful I've seen. The only thing that really caught me was the moderator. She seemed almost hostile to the candidates. I'm not (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/rich-noyes/2007/12/12/gop-voters-pan-rigid-boring-antagonistic-debate-moderator) the only one (http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/12/debate.analysis/index.html?eref=rss_topstories) who noticed, either. It was almost embarrassing.
And what in the name of reason was Alan Keyes (http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2007/12/12/513050.aspx) doing? I didn't think it was possible, but he made Ron Paul look completely rational. If you really want to you can watch the debate here (http://www.iptv.org/video/detail.cfm/919).
I don't think I've ever been this disappointed in a presidential debate. We'll see how "The Democrats" version goes today.
