What's really wrong with this forum is that you try to behave and you get attacked, you report the attack and you get no confirmation whatsoever on whether or not the mods and the admins are even paying attention. And that's not to mention that some of the mods are now going to go on their own little crusade to see if they can eliminate those who don't agree with American Nazism.

Therefore I will take it upon myself to test the waters here to find out for all posters what is going to be allowed and what is not. I know it's a sacrifice because I'm going to start at the top of the list when it comes to outrageous and aggregious abuses of forum rules instead of starting at the bottom by calling somebody a pussy or something tame like that. If I was suspended for doing that then nobody would ever learn what the limits are going to be.

So here goes: Walter is a cocksucker. And the mods may want to know that I don't do temporary suspensions. I always do permanent suspensions. So if I can't try the next less aggregious violation of the rules then somebody will have to carry the ball for me from now on.

Sorry it had to be this way but I just can't tolerate a forum where the mods and admins refuse to interact in a grown up way with the members.

I may return sometime in the future with a different name and a different ISP just to see how it's going but I'll probably never post on this forum again unless it's to reaffirm what I think of Walter.

Usually we tend to handle things such as reported posts internally and quietly. Most of us dont have any desire to air our dirty laundry in public. You can be ensured that every reported post is looked at, considered, and if necessary removed. I generally dont respond to childlish rants such as the one you PMed me with. I am only responding publicly because I will not sit back and have you slam what you know very little about. So I will do it publicly to let everyone else read what kind of poster you were here.

ROFLMAO!!!! This is the funniest thing I have literally read all day. It was the Mods who despite some objections from others about your username, allowed it to stay. Instead of banning you outright at the downward turn of your behavior here, like we probably should have, we have given you infractions instead of handing out suspensions or bans. The mods here have bent over backwards to ensure the freedom of speech for all our posters.

Yes, I said "it". This may stun and amaze some posters but organized efforts are made at inserting dummy personas into discussions to siderail them. I've seen this now at about four websites I've been to. Some call them "sockpuppets" but in this instance it is more than just adopting an alias to not be accountable. It is adopting a alias as a strategic measure.

Ushad is one of those personas. This was just it's explanation for suddenly disappearing.

Testing? Ahh, so I see I'm not suspended or banned. That's good for you folks cause we're now learning something about the moderators and admins here on this forum. That's what it takes I guess to get them out of their braindead coma. And I 'was' leaving because I was sure that one would earn me a suspension. So let me do a bit of explaining just in case the mods want to pay attention this time:

If you come on this forum and you post sensible and well thought out remarks it turned out that people such as the wanker Libs and a few others would just attack you with their abuse. So when that happens you either try to get the mods' attention and get confirmation that they will stop it or you attack back. I attacked back and I got their attention in the form of a warning. So, I start reporting the abuse and I get complete silence, and then more abuse although toned down enough to escape the radar. Which is still abuse obviously but most forums have this childish idea that if you can camoflage the abuse then it becomes acceptable.

So I got tired of it and I decided to test the waters. Now keeping in mind that I don't do temporary suspensions and providing that I'm not just banned outright, we might be able to continue on my terms and on terms which are understood by all and are good for the forum. It's the mods choice.

As for a rebuttal to Andy's attack and Bunz's attack, there's no need. That's their childish problem they need to vent and not mine. As to Sihouette's attack against me, well that's just Sihouette who probably woke up with another conspiracy theory twirling madly around between her ears.

If I could edit my OP I would because I would rather change it to something more postive now that I seem to have awakened the mods and admins out of their comas. Let's just hope that now we will see some interaction between the mods and the members and not hear more lame excuses of them not having the time or the interest to do what needs to be done on a forum such as this.

2. My mother, who I live with currently, is seriously physically disabled (she has Multiple Sclerosis). Taking care of her takes up a lot of time as well.

3. Moderating this forum is entirely voluntary. Bunz, 9sub and I do not get paid to come here and try to get you to play nicely with each other. As such, we do it when we have the time and the energy. When I've just spent nine hours scolding kids for not cleaning up the Legos and getting run into during games of soccer, do you honestly expect me to get on the computer and spend an hour trying to get the other posters not to be "mean" to you? When we have the time for it, we come. When we don't...you figure it out.

But since it's out there let me say this. I think the mods here have extreme patience. I think we can all agree that the key to good moderation is CONSISTENCY ACROSS THE BOARD.

When I first started posting here coming from a forum that was extremely strict on the interpretation of what a personal attack was I felt this board let things play out kind of loose and fast.

But I have to say to me the mods seem even handed & patient not wanting to run people off if at all possible and letting people vent.

Once you get acclimated to it, it works. I've seen no favoritism, it's become my most visited board again.

If allowing people to vent and consistency across the board is the goal then our mods are very good IMO.

I visit the site on average 3x per day. I often times have about 15minutes at a time these days. But I find myself spending less time engaging in political debate and more time babysitting, and taking care of hurt feelings.

I thought I had made it fairly clear in my first post that I wont be moderating anything in this thread. One of the others might step in, but I wont. If he wants to complain about insults and other BS, I say let him actually get it.

When it comes to USHadItComing, I say slam away.

I forgot this thread was going to be differnt. I watched Andy get set up yesterday and Andy and Andy only got a warning not the guy who provoked him.

And once again top gun and all others who don't get it yet: The mods are consistent and the amount of horseplay they allow is great. I have no wish for a forum which is strict. But the mods need to devote the time to letting people know what is o.k. and what is not. They need to interact with the members here and stop complaining about not having time to do their job.

No, I'm pretty sure they get it UShadItComing. If I'm not mistaken almost the exact same type complaints have come from the other side of the fence from Libsmaher.

These mods aren't stupid you know. They watch and see who's really mixing it up and if you're one of them they let it flow back and forth to some degree.

You're a tough poster and you throw some fast high & inside ones yourself (baseball analogy for chin music ;)). So just go back at it and try to stay on an even keel with who you're posting against.

If you get a warning and you know that you've been attacked recently in the exact same way just calmly point out that post and ask the mod to note that also to whoever it is. They may/they may not that's their call, but I really don't see a legitimate complaint that they just missed being a big problem for them to then address... as long as you're calm and your complaint is similar.

The oldest trick in the book is for someone to try and bait someone else into going way over the top just so they can get them removed.

You make some good points... don't just walk away or get thrown out of the game. I hope this is helpful.

Thanks top gun, it is helpful in that it's good to know there are rational people such as you on this forum. And I don't have much more to say about the issue but this: It all started it seems to me when I called somebody a bozo and I was warned about it. At that time it seemed to me that was quite mild compared to what was going on and so I questioned it. Perhaps the mistake was mine in not being selective on who I was calling a bozo and the mods could have pointed that out. Or in other words, if you call libs any number of names it's probably excusable.

I do however disagree with your suggestion that the mods don't have to be proactive and interactive with the members. They have a job to do and if they're too busy with their day jobs they should pass it on to someone who can do the job.

Anyway, now one of the jerks with the buttons has taken to deleting posts as a way of having to read my posts that hurt his/her feelings I guess. I didn't think the mods were stupid but with this tactic I'm not so sure. If it doesn't stop soon I'll surely either quit or get thrown out of the game.

Hoser is Canadian slang. I didn't know it either. Somehow I find it ironically humorous to find Canadian slang, and apply it to a Canadian in a US forum, even when most of us don't know what it means.
