Democrats will let the 25 year ban on coastal drilling expire. Here's their reckoning - the great majority of americans support lifting the ban - they don't want to harm Obama's election chances, so thsey'll play along for now. Whoever gets elected though, if they still control congress, which is likely, they'll just slap the ban back on in a few months. You heard it here first.

The republicans will just look for another country that has oil to 'regime change' or frame with WMD.

or c'mon just because we didn't find the weapons doesn't mean they weren't there at some point. everyone bashes bush for "lying" to us but I think the weapons were there at some point. They were just moved
