I think "spiders" means bots of some kind which visit your board.
I'm sorry I don't know much about how these things work or the right language to discuss it.

But sometimes I come here kind of late at night and I see x number of "guests"; I think there is a way of differentiating between the guests who are people and the guests who are automatons.
Of course, I don't know what that way IS !

But I've seen it done on another board.
Not a real big deal but it would be interesting.

Also, maybe there could be that feature for keeping track of how many had "viewed" a thread.

In any case, I think this is a great board already.

Yes, spiders are bots from search engines that read websites.

There is a way to differentiate between the guests and the bots. I'm not sure when I'll implement it, but it'll happen.

And there is a feature to keep track of how many people have "viewed" a thread. We already have it actually.
