http://www.turkishpolitix.com is dedicated to Turkish politics and aims to be the leading gateway to news, information and knowledge on Turkish affairs. It covers a wide range of topics from foreign policy to domestic affairs.

Today, Turkey as the World’s 19th largest economy is a rapidly developing country, an emergent market, and a regional power with the second largest army in the NATO. On 3 October 2005 Turkey has started accession negotiations with the European Union. We are witnessing a time when understanding Turkish politics has become crucial:

http://www.turkishpolitix.com is a non-profit project developed by academics and journalists working on Turkish and EU affairs. It emerged from the simple idea of sharing information and knowledge on Turkish politics and policies in an efficient way. Turkishpolitix provides at no cost information to the community of actors concerned with Turkey (professionals, NGOs, press, policymakers and etc.). Acting as a gateway, the website gives easy access to a wealth of information on Turkish policies. The portal is in English and available at http://www.turkishpolitix.com.

http://www.turkishpolitix.com is the independent webportal dedicated to Turkish affairs. It provides news, analysis and information on politics and policy in Turkey and is covering a multitude of topics: foreign policy, domestic politics, EU - Turkey relations, security policy, energy, trade, economic policy, Cyprus and more.

:) It is very much gratifying to note that the first European portal on Turkey has been started. By all justifications and merits, this initiative should have been taken eralier insofar as Turkey holds parmont strategic political and social importance for the Europaen community of today and for the greater Europe of tomarrow. Any way, better late than never.

turkey has started accession talks 2 years ago with EU, but in 2 years EU has decided to kick out turkey before it's too late.

turkey is not a european country at all, it is a middle eastern country. %97 of current turkey's soil lies on asian continent. and turkey is not welcome in europe as well. so why insisting on that.
