yep, i would not be surprised if US did something like that. i mean to be honest, in the political world there is no such thing as "good guy." everybody is fighting for their own interest. if doing something like this is good for US interest without the public knowning, then the US government would do it.

I would agree with you, Southside, IF USA is a totalitarian state. However, USA is a democratic nation, and an advantage of a democratic nation is that the government does not function purely based on interest or personal greed. :)
