Obscene Wealth

Funny how you keep putting up new goal posts to avoid validating your peace if govt steals other people's money.
But if you enjoy cut-pasting long (and illegal abuse of copywrote laws) then have your fun.
Watching people try to explain why its ok for them to steal is always a nice reminder that the left needs to go awsy

First off, you should really learn to spell, or use spell check (piece). Then ask yourself why you posted the same post three times?

Secondly, it is not theft no matter how the illiterate would like one to look at it.

Next, learn how to spell again (copyright), and then read up on copyright laws. Articles in the public domain are not copyrighted, and even if they were if one does not use the entire article, and only uses it for educational purposes, not for resale, it is not illegal.

Finally, when the power is given to the wealthy to "steal" from the working class, why is it you "conservatives" never whine about that?

So, see if you can find an intelligent spot in your mind to answer this question:

If a populace isn't given the opportunity to prosper, what will the end result be? It is a philosophical question, and may be too deep for you.

Taking something that is not yours is theft even though you wish it were not so.
The population is free to prosper here, there may be otherwise. We expand our numbers of millionaires and billionaires every year.
Im sure its more fun to make fun of me but you're only hurting your argument by avoiding the topic.

Have yet to avoid the topic in spite of the strawman arguments you make, and I respond to. If you had bothered to read the article you would have seen that what some call "theft" is simply ones obligation to fulfill the demands of society under what is called the "social contract". maybe you are one fo those who thinks they do not benefit from the tax. Who knows anymore.

As to "free to prosper", that too is erroneous. When one part of a population controls the finances, and that part is the smaller part of the population, the larger part is not "free" to advance in order to prosper. Ideologically they may be, however, reality soon tells a different story. One of the reasons I post the long posts you object to is to give you an opportunity to expand your realm of knowledge. However, you, like so many millions of others, choose to remain in your little box of limited knowledge, and understanding.

As to "make fun of you", your first post attempted to do so of me. Sorry if you felt slighted when I showed you how much easier it is to do so of you.

We grow millionaires and billionairs every year. Think about that when you drag out the populist nonsense. The two are mutually exclusive and one is verifiable truth.
Stealing money is what you want. The wealthy already pay taxes that the poor do not. But its not enough to suit you and never will be.
And this invention that stealing from the rich will create peace is indefensable which is why, I suppose you do not try.

The rich - here anyway - pay accountants, not taxes. And, as you know, every penny they have is stolen from those who do the work for them. Because you are naïve is no reason for others to behave like mugs.

I would suggest you ask Christ, however, that would be a waste of time.

Wealth of itself is not obscene. However, when so few control so much, and with it control the lives of so many, that is what makes if "obscene". Just as an example, what do you think would happen if those few would take just half of the 110 Trillion dollars they have, and use it to help the less fortunate by building power grids, clean water systems? Do you think maybe there would be a little more peace in the world?

I take you mean "what if these people took just half of their money and invested it." Guess what - THEY ALREADY DO!

What do you think they do with their money? They just sit around surrounded by cash? They deposit and invest their money in companies that do things like....build power grids, bring clean water solutions to people that need it etc etc. The real issue you seem to take here is that they dare to make any return on their investments. It's absurd. Do you have any investments? How about you stop earning a return on half of it and put it to use saving the world?

Because it IS yours and mine, and these shites have stolen it, as you know. Who does the work, man?

What a joke. Just what job do you think you would have if someone else didn't create it for you to do? Did you take 100% of the risk to start a business? Did you work long hours - sometimes years - with no pay to make a go of it? Or did you just waltz into a situation someone else created and think you were entitled to the fruit of their labor? I think I already know the answer.

Interesting comment showing a lack of insight, and thoughtful consideration. If a people have power do you not think they might produce more of their own goods, and even some industry? If they had some of the conveniences we have do you not think they might want more? What if they had tractors instead of oxen?

One might wonder why if what is needed is so simple no one has bothered to create it already?

As to water, aside from some Christian groups, and a couple of other charities, I know of not massive government money, or that from the wealthy, being used to create water purification plants, dig wells, etc. Look at India, and the Ganges River. Hell, look at the rivers here in America. The groundwater in my area is polluted, and 50% of the wells in Iowa are polluted.

Do you have some documentation for this?

History has shown that when the balance of wealth is closer to level, and when the power of the people is on an even keel, there is less reason to go to war. It is when there is an imbalance of power, and wealth, that wars begin.

There will always be an imbalance. It is wishful thinking to suggest otherwise.

You have no idea what you are talking about. It is a demonstrable fact that the "rich" pay the lion share of taxes.

Now, that is the second time you have accused me of not knowing what I am talking about, so that is twice you have made a fool of yourself. Do you know who Lysander Spooner, Adam Smith, or Thomas Jefferson, were among others? They were people who believed in the worker to the point where Spooner said the wealthy sponged off the capital, and labor, of the workers; Smith said that the working man creates the wealth of the nation; and Jefferson believed that only the rich should pay taxes. Now we live in a time where greed rules all, and anyone, even Christ Himself, who disagrees is a "welch". So, while your rich idols may pay half of the countries taxes, they also collect 85% of the wealth generated. Since the "wealthy" only represent 1-5% of the population is it your opinion that while they share that 85% of the wealth created, that the other 95% of the population should fight over the remaining 15% of the wealth?

Lefties just want other peoples money nit realizing its what they already get. The rub ultimstely is the concept of earning.

How do the wealthy "earn" their money? Bloated government contracts? Subsidies from the government? How about selling stuff to the poor who get governemt assistance? Bailouts? Tax shaleters offshore? Paying their workers less then what the worker can live on?

Just how do they earn their money?
