Saw they were crowing about initial jobless claims being the lowest they've been in a while.
So I looked and so it was. Yay.
But what about the big picture ?
I found historical data and started fiddling with it. Didn't have complete apples to apples so had to project the rest.
In total, BO will have presided over the loss of roughly 167 million jobs. Remember each claim is n a new lost job ( initial claim).
Ok how about some perspective.
Bush had roughly 153 mil and Bubba 165 mil. That's all I grabbed.
Now I'm glad the trend is a gentle down but jeez that's a lot of people.
And maybe the GOP is less bad but still only 10 mil or so. But they did not have a dot Com boom just the burst bubble.
