I hope the UK voters are pleased...

Well, we're only a few months in to this 5 year term of conservative government, and it looks like this is going to be a long 5 years for a lot of people.

Conservative voters are now starting to realise that voting for them wasn't the right option, as more and more people are starting to feel the pressure that the conservatives policies are inflicting. More cuts have been announced, in particular to the NHS, police and fire service aswell as a reworking of welfare and benefits that people can claim. (some of which I'm not even sure a legal, but that's another matter)

The good news though is that we've managed to find, yes, FIND...12 billion pounds to invest in a high speed rail service, so I guess it's not all doom and gloom.

But surely that should start with encouraging growth in your own country, not taking money off the UK population and giving it to another country for them to grow?

You mean, like the U.S. does? I guess if they can't distribute it fast enough to our own countrymen (who would rather not work), they figure out ways to export it. Of course now we are doling welfare benefits out to illegals as well, so I guess a lot of our tax dollars are staying here now.

The UK as been spending money on people that are in this country illegally for years also, so in the competition to find out which country is the most incompetent when it comes to spending tax payers money, it's still a close run thing.

The Conservative government was the best choice from what there was, otherwise the other parties would have let in more migrants and refugees and borrowed more money to keep them.

The solution is to limit this, therefore it cuts down welfare costs, because it has increased because of the influx of migrants claiming. Stop that loophole, by getting out of the EU or limit the access migrants have to welfare then it means cuts won't have to be made. Under EU law that can't happen at present, so the only way is to leave.

Consider a coach load of migrants come from X, they arrive in the UK having not paid a penny in tax and are immediately entitled to benefits. That is why the deficit has ballooned. I don't think the cuts are good, but under EU law all migrants have to have the same benefits as citizens, so the citizens suffer so the migrants can benefit under EU regulations. Simple, get out f the EU and the migrants won't claim and welfare cuts won't need to be made.

If there was a referendum tomorrow regarding the EU, I think the majority of people would vote to leave, but even though the conservative government say they think they should leave aswell, I think there's a lot that are wary about the effects it will have on the British economy.

A lot of the major companies have warned that leaving the EU will have a negative effect on business, and a lot of the conservatives are in bed with these chairman and so I have a feeling what the man on the street wants, and what these businesses want are two entirely different things with the government stuck in the middle.

Judging on past form, I think the conservatives will opt to stay in the EU, and at the same time continue to receive the generous handouts that will bring with it.

Or maybe that's just me being cynical?
