in order to send your kid to public school, they must be vaccinated...unless you have a valid medical reason (with a doctor's note) for not vaccinating (or delayed/selective vaccinating)....OR you can sign something saying that it is against your religious beliefs.

I KNOW that not all of these parents are choosing not vaccinating because of actual religious reasons. Do you think it's right that these parents are lying in order to be able to send their kids to public school?

How do you KNOW that some number of parents don't have serious religious reasons for not having their kids vacinated?

What constitutes an acceptable level of religious ferver to warrant respect from the community at large? or?

Am I to judge the heart of someone else who states that they have serious religious objections to their child receiving vacination(s)?

Yes and if vaccines are SO GOOD then un-vaccinated people are NO THREAT to those who are vaxed!!

Truth said: Vaccines are aweful..... They are bio-engineered garbage that can leave you open to getting auto-immune diseases, etc later in life!!

Vaccination stops epidemics. Those who refuse it should pay compensation to those who die as a result, of e.g. measles.

Tell that to the people living under a state of emergency in Washington right now because they didn't want to protect their kids from measles...

I don't know if I'm pro-vax or not but I'm pretty sure I'm anti-polio.

And you never see the media pushing the polio vaccination.

A few media pushed vaccinations that come to mind are HPV/STD, chicken pox and shingles. Last I read the newest batch of shingle vaccinations might not be effective, so why push it? ($$$) Least not forgot the all the new must have shots...flu, pneumonia, etc.

We’re just poisoning our bodies to fatten someone’s bank account.

The new shingles one is effective.
Flu has been very dubious since the government took it over (be sure to act surprized).
The school age ones which people are divided on are fine and should be had as evidenced by the spate of deaths from diseases we eradicated until the hoards of illegals reintroduced them.

Which religions in the US oppose vaccinations? Islam in the US doesn't...In 2017, Islamic leaders signed the Dakar Declaration on Vaccination, a document explaining the necessity for vaccination to protect children from infectious diseases and laying out religious jurisprudence regarding the use of vaccines. It basically boils down to the need for vaccines, the historical precedent for vaccination (e.g. variolation practiced in Turkey and introduced to England by Lady Montagu), and the responsibility of parents to do what is best for their children.

Christian Scientists and a handful of hard core evangelicals.

Too too aggressive with vaccines in the last probably 20 yrs or so, for babies for sure....the peditricians push them and place a lot of Guilt on parents for their babies and vaccines....Some can be good but not a LOAD.

Personally at 82, I have not had a vaccine since my early 40's maybe, and none since. One for tetnus as I remember along the years.

And for the covid vaccine PUSH, not for this gal...my immune system is strong with what I do for it...not the jabbing from the medical world.
