So the right is screaming about how the churches should have the right to follow there own rules and not be held the laws that govern all other business. Its a war on Christianity they scream ( lead by a Christian of course...you crying martyr wannabes') ...so your saying that a Religions laws should override our national laws for everyone else...Unless your not Christian is what you seem to forget to add..When it comes to Sharia law ( as if it was a real problem) you screem bloody murder ( like your going to go trial under it or something)

PS your Party is still debating birth control...let us know when you make it to the 20th century so we know your only a century behind.

Debating abortion is not the same as debating birth control. Killing children is not a humane way to control the human population.

No one cares if you have or take birth control pills or wrap yourself in a condom, just don’t ask me to pay for it!

And Christians having the freedom to practice their faith as their own conscience dictates is a tiny bit different than sharia law that is forced on any and all Muslims in places where that law is allowed to exist.

No there are much better ways like the US' policy on healthcare which is ardently supported by Christians

That ensures hat thousands of actual people die unnecessarily every year because they are poor

Obviously the teachings of Jesus Christ can be ignored when they are inconvenient

well if you're talking about the mandatory birth control its a Constitutional matter so yeah, that gets the attention of conservatives.

Mr. Strawman, clearly you have no idea what the Free Exercise clause of the 1st amendment prohibits the government from doing.

More factually incorrect hyperbole from the Radical Left.

Christians bang on about freedom to practice etc and then try to impose their ludicrous views on everyone else

They are at best delusional and, at worst, vicious hypocrites

And they have nerve to diss other religions

The religious right in the US are every bit as mad and repulsive as militant Islamists

No says its mandatory you have to take it...just that its a health service that must be offered. The law holds for all companies and Government....so why should a Hospital be exempt just because its attached to a church? What Conservatives have called for is that Church law should override what is National law for everyone else...thus not dissimilar from Sharia law overriding US law. If you don't like the law for anyone thats fine...but thats not what anyone has called for...they have called for exemptions.

You are forgetting that Christians whine like a stuck pig about anyone seeking to impose their views on them but then they seek to override the law with their brand of utter lunacy

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

Sharia LAW is not made by Congress (who is prohibited from trying) nor does it allow for equal treatment. and I won't even get into the punishment aspect.

From what you have explained of your financial situation, NO ONE is asking you to pay for ANYTHING.

And this issue is NOT about abortion, but access to free birth control, especially for the women who need it the most: those who cannot afford to purchase it themselves, and who can even less afford to bring another child in this world.

By the way, I am not a big supporter (actually not at all) of Sharia law, but it is ALSO BASED on the "conscience" of the Muslims!

Daw is correct. . .very little difference between ANY laws based on religious beliefs (which are all manmade dogmas anyway!)

And this issue is...about...access to free birth control...
Nothing is free, someone has to pay for it. Whoever is using the birth control should be the one who has to pay for it, no one else.

especially for the women who need it the most: those who cannot afford to purchase it themselves, and who can even less afford to bring another child in this world.
If you can't afford to have children and you can't afford birth control... Here's a wacky idea... Don't have sex. At the very least learn how to have sex without risking pregnancy.

Every law is based on man-made dogma, even the ones you support.

who do you think will be paying for these contraceptives ?

equal protection under the law cannot be if you have multiple sets.

So. . .let's get rid of all the small airports or at the least remove all government subsidies for those. In fact, since so many people cnanot afford to fly even from large airports, why don't we just take away all the subsidies to every airport, and let businesses and wealthy people who want to travel pay for their own airport expenses.

By the way, let's remember that it takes TWO to make a baby. . .so. . .if a man can't afford to have a child, and doesn't want to have a vastectomy. . .why not abstain from sex? And to start someplace that might be helpful, why not reject insurance coverage for all "male products such as Viagra, Cialis, etc. . ? That might help with the "unwanted pregancy" issue, and even more with "promiscuity" and maybe even with "pedophilia and rape!" But, the Catholic Church see no moral issue with Viagra. . .no matter what the cost, although it is at leat twice as expensive as the pill. However, private insurance industry benefits a LOT more from providing free birth control pills than free Viagra! One my decrease their expense in covering prenatal/birth/ and postnatal care, while the other may INCREASE the number of pregancies. . .so would INCREASE the insurance out of pocket reimbursement expense for the same!

Yes, every law is based on man-made dogma. . .but only RELIGIOUS laws are "sent from heaven" and putting ridiculous restrictions on women!
