Aside from allot of the political rhetoric going on, we've got it pretty good here in modern day in lieu of luxuries even for the poor like hot showers or going to the grocery store instead of having to hunt or salvage for fruits and vegetables let alone what would it take for you to even make a simple piece of paper without having the convenience of a store

along with all of the other simple or more complex gadgets you have that you quite obviously never would have made yourself let alone ever to have had the time to make all of these things.

Who knows what the future holds.....if Bernie wins the presidency and implements a socialist agenda....I feel that my days of working [because of my age category] are not long anyway.

So as a senior myself, I will think that I may not be as affected as the younger working class may be.

Socialism spreads the wealth, whereas producers/working people will be taxed [50%+] to pay for entitlements for others.

A Classless society......

In this grey like society I postulate that:

~Non producers will not have limited ambition to provide or help themselves [and why should they .....what is the human nature incentive to produce and help themselves]

~Producers will lose ambition to work, as a major part of their sweat earned fruits will be dispersed to government for government entitlement distribution. [and why should they.....what is the human nature incentive to produce to help themselves] The rewards for good work ethics will be diluted.

~Creativity, ideas, innovations, brilliance will be compromised and suppressed with a socialism arrangement of no rewards for producers of greatness. This may escalate to less competition in the business sector. We need to be rewarded for our work efforts for it to multiple and expand. Heavy taxation to distribute with contribute to the opposite.

~The ethics that I have been brought up with will be history. The ethics of work hard to help yourself....the old fashioned ethic of work hard and earn shall be greatly compromised.

~Appreciation for what we have and may earn shall be compromised, as when one earns for themselves this does exist. The opposite may come into play.

This thought comes into my mind with college grant entitlement students not applying themselves like they mean it as they have not put skin in their game to appreciate it.

~Without doubt, our freedoms will be more compromised....as whomever controls the money has a leverage for control and say so. In socialism, the money goes to the government.

[enhanced gov't leverage for control is in already in active progress with the implementation of gov't controlled health care .....hence one may postulate.... whomever controls our health has a leverage for our control and say so.

~People's sense of accomplishment will be compromised....as an underlying feeling of empowerment and pride shall be destroyed. The subliminal message as we cannot take care of and do for ourselves.....a bureaucracy needs to do it for us. A movement of helplessness.

Looking up the word Socialism....below I find the definition:

Socialism: A Political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, exchange should be owned and regulated by community as a whole.

Synonyms: leftism, welfares, radicalism, progressivism, social democracy, communism, Marxism

I have thought more about the question that I have seen posted by another.... Below is the question that I have read....

"So what is so wrong with the government doing everything for us?"

The above-mentioned grey like society is what I have postulated from the core of basic human nature and the history of other countries that entertain the socialism arrangement.

The above-mentioned are my thoughts.....

My feelings of this arrangement are of Dread as socialism within my core understanding is not in alignment with the American Dream and what our forefathers had in heart and mind this Country.

I need to conclude with ….. I do want to help qualified victims, people whom need help to get them through a temporary hard time/situation, a qualified entitlement candidate.....of course....

I suppose that if Socialism is in place we can all point the finger for someone else to do it for us and we can all empty our pockets to do it for them.

As a Senior, I hope that spreading the wealth does not mean Government tapping on my already taxed Savings Account and earned Social Security account from my life time of work.

In essence, I hope to be entitled for what I have worked for.

Do you think this could happen with Socialism spreading the wealth?
