"PRINCETON, N.J. -- Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' favorable rating among Americans has doubled since Gallup's initial reading in March, rising to 24% from 12% as he has become better known. Hillary Clinton's rating has slipped to 43% from 48% in April. At the same time, Clinton's unfavorable rating increased to 46%, tilting her image negative and producing her worst net favorable score since December 2007."

Clinton is still in the lead. But Bernie is slowly gaining on her. This has brought sunshine to my otherwise drab morning. Perhaps all hope isn't lost, after all.

The other 3 democratic candidates remain unknown.

He has been gaining more support by the day. I get so excited when I hear how much support he has that I can't help but to picture him on stage like a rock star... tight leather pants, old man chest exposed, and Joe Dirt wig, with girls throwing their bras and underwear on stage.

At least he is somewhat honest about being socialist. Credit where credit isb due. I'm not pleased you painted that mental image in my mind though Lil. Kinda n threw up a little.

lol, it wasn't my favorite mental picture, either. The man should at least wear a shirt.

Bernie is on the right track as far as his ideals are. His vision for a better USA is clear and his campaign, in my mind, will be the legacy that he leaves this earth. If elected he will be the oldest President to sit in the oval office.

In this one interview he has gone on to say that his campaign is based on a radical idea. We are going to tell the truth for once. He got an immediate applause and he didn't get into the meat of the discussion yet. He went on to say that Americans should have the right to free healthcare and free public college education. He goes on to talk more about alternative energy and getting off of the dependency of foreign oil. Climate change was also a subject that he touched up on. Then he spoke out about the conflicts in the Middle East and how the US needs to stop putting our troops in harms way and be just a supporter.

He basically touched on all the subjects that mattered to me now.

Bernie Sanders is just spewing the same old unsustainable crap that socialist -leaning dems have been spewing for years! I will keep asking the same old question: Who is going to pay for all this "free" stuff? The Donald Trumps and Bill Gates of the world? What happens when all the billionaires' wealth has been re-distributed, and the freebies run out? Do you think the CEO's and the inventor/researchers will bother to work hard, with no hope of being in control of their own money? Sorry people, but Communism does not work! BTW, where do we draw the line between rich vs. poor? I personally know a family who cannot afford internet or cable TV. The dad refuses to work, and the mom works a part time job. Do you think it's fair that some of you "richer" folks have internet service? And on and on and on...

There are other countries that have free health care and free public college education. They have laid the foundation for others to follow and try to fit to their particular situation. It is not a easy to do task and probably won't happen over night but I'm all for change. It won't come cheap. But neither is war. Our Republican friends have taken us to war in the middle east and put the bill on the credit card. No one talks about the 10 trillion dollars that has been spent to support that mess, and who paid for that? Those are expensive and could of gone to other things besides weapon profiteering.

Bernie is far from perfect, but his message speaks to me.

I think people get worried that their tax dollars might go towards saving a poor person's life instead of killing foreigners. Because thats what the bible teaches.

Healthcare is not free nor is college.
You just want someone else to pay for it.

And what if everyone went to college ? Who would repair your car, paint your house, fix your leak etc ?

There is no chance that there would bE work for all these people.

Be honest, you want free college for you.

Not everybody wants to go to college. There are laborers who love what the do. My husband climbs really tall trees everyday to cut limbs that are too close to power lines. It scares the hell out of me, and I would love for him to get an office job where I'm not worried all day. He loves what he does, though. he's done it for 17 years.
My college is done and paid for. My daughter is on her 3rd semester on academic scholarships. My son is still a few years away, thank god, and my husband loves the kind of work that gets your hands dirty and has no interest in school. I am not receiving any kind of welfare, at all. I have received food stamps in the past. Feeding my children is my priority. But I've never cheated the government out of any money. And what I received in food stamps, total, is less than what I pay in taxes in any given year.

We are actually working on building a small cabin. We can't do anything else until the electric is run and a pole is dropped. I'm taking an online course for electrician. I would like to do it if I can. If I can't I would like to be able to stand around, using words like volts, ohms, triplex, and drip loops so that I sound like I know whats going on, regardless of how annoying it will be.

The benefit I get from people being able to go college and eat food is... I can't think of one. People aren't homeless out here. Its too far out in the country. And you aren't allowed to be homeless in town. They get kicked out as fast as they can come in. So it isn't like I have to see people starving on the street corners. I know that my vote for "everyone has a right to eat food" isn't enough to change the minds of...well... anyone at all. Anyone I surround myself with believes in helping people as much as I do, already. And you can see how convincing I am on here. Half the time I get so "passionate" about my views that I sound like a nut.

But I know, whole heartedly, that I'm right about this topic in particular. I associate myself with liberals, specifically for this reason. My views on gun control is no different than the NRA's. I believe anyone who doesn't want me to display my confederate flag, can kiss my expletive. I don't approve of the government forcing their rules on how children are raised. There is a difference between spanking and beating. They need to stop trying to control what everyone eats. I could keep going but I won't. Not right now, anyway :p

According to an NBC poll, Sanders is getting past Hillary:

http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/bernie-sanders-leads-hillary-clinton-9-n-h-gains-iowa-n422111
Bernie Sanders has jumped out to a nine-point lead over front-runner Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire . . . the Vermont senator gets the support of 41 percent of Democratic voters, Clinton gets 32 percent

The Democrat's ship is sinking fast.
