Funny hearing you cite a premier neocon. :D This isn't "jumping ship" - it's criticism of an ill-run campaign, of a person who was not the strongest republican candidate. I've criticized his campaign repeatedly. Maybe half the obama lead is due to the poor quality of the McCain campaign. The other half is due to the most wildly biased media coverage in world history.

The only media coverage that really counts is in the last 4 or 5 days before the election. I suspect the "pro Obama" media is going to flip-flop.

No way... they have too much invested in this election. They put their necks on the line to get Obama elected and all its costing them is their journalistic integrity and credibility. There's no getting that back, its gone forever.

Oh no! Look here, it's a couple right wing apologists putting out excuses and having a pity party. Face it you two, Obama is leading in the polls because the American public has had enough of George Bush, McSame and the GOP...get used to it and stop sniveling.

Get used to what... Socialism? I realize you have your jack boots shined up, been practicing the goose step at the rallies for the Messiah but you should wait to win the election before you go marching through red square.

Riiiight. :D The american public, who shifted the campaign from a dead heat to a likely McCain loss because "Duh....slobber.......CNN says the republicans caused the bank crisis.....(belch!).....I'm gonna vote fer Obama (fart!)" doesn't know it's ass from a hole in the ground.

The lib media plays them like Yo Yo Ma plays the cello. ;)

Right Libs it's all the lib media's fault, like I said in another thread...you're full of nothing but excuses. The old methods of smears coupled with fear mongering just isn't working. It's frustrating and you and other Republicans are looking for somewhere, something to assign blame to. What you need to do is look at your own party.

Bush and the GOP had their chance, 7+ years in the WH, the majority in Congress from 1994-2006.... what did they do with it?..polarize the country like never before, blatantly favor big corporations while caring little for the average American, and creating a culture of corruption.

The American people are sick of Republicans...they said it in 2006, it looks like they'll say it again next month. Stop with the excuses, accept defeat like a man. Politics is cyclical, the Pubs will likely be in power again someday, another opportunity to throw it all away.

To pretend the gushing, cheerleading (remember the chills up Chris Matthew's leg? :D) wholesale distortion of the pervasive lib media, and the far leftwing net attack blogosphere will have no effect on the election's outcome is imbecilic. :D

Facts? Supporting evidence? Never shows up in your posts.

The american people are being hoodwinked - they aren't getting a normal democrat, which IS what happens in normal political cycles. This time they are getting, without knowing it, because of Obama's excellent hustle, his evasions about his past, and no interest from the lib media in anything except obama cheerleading, a person who is the most exceptionally unqualified person ever to rise to that office, and the most leftwing president ever, who has an ideology that was thoroughly discredited over the last 20 years.

Kristol is just one of many Conservatives that have said McCain has jumped the shark. They know the outcome around the corner in about 20 days and they're scrambling to distance themselves from McCain so they're not tainted as much by his loss.

It's not rocket science to see what's happening here.

But some will stay in denial until Nov. 4th and that's fine I guess. I do feel a little sorry for those who wasted their time on or sent any cash to this particular campaign though. They really got cheated.

Look at everyone else on that side smart enough to jump ship before it sinks...

Lib media is nothing more than a neo-con red herring. All media gets it money from corporate sponsorship. With the posible exception of Ben an Jerry's, there's no such thing a a liberal corporation.

    Remember, follow the money.

Yeah... they just happen to be run, staffed and operated by a bunch of hand-wringing liberals who "want to make a difference" in the world....

I suppose next you're going to say that Hollywood isn't composed of a bunch of liberals either...
