No way... they have too much invested in this election. They put their necks on the line to get Obama elected and all its costing them is their journalistic integrity and credibility. There's no getting that back, its gone forever.

The american people are being hoodwinked - they aren't getting a normal democrat, which IS what happens in normal political cycles. This time they are getting, without knowing it, because of Obama's excellent hustle, his evasions about his past, and no interest from the lib media in anything except obama cheerleading, a person who is the most exceptionally unqualified person ever to rise to that office, and the most leftwing president ever, who has an ideology that was thoroughly discredited over the last 20 years.

Kristol is just one of many Conservatives that have said McCain has jumped the shark. They know the outcome around the corner in about 20 days and they're scrambling to distance themselves from McCain so they're not tainted as much by his loss.

It's not rocket science to see what's happening here.

But some will stay in denial until Nov. 4th and that's fine I guess. I do feel a little sorry for those who wasted their time on or sent any cash to this particular campaign though. They really got cheated.

Look at everyone else on that side smart enough to jump ship before it sinks...
