More than 4,000 British Muslims have passed through terrorist training camps in Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to security agencies, providing a fertile recruitment pool for the Islamist international jihad.

A former commander of the British force in Helmand, Brigadier Ed Butler, has revealed that his troops had come across British Muslims in southern Afghanistan. "There are British passport holders who live in the UK who are being found in places such as Kandahar," he said. "There is a link between Kandahar and urban conurbations in the UK. This is something the military understands, but theBritish public does not."

Interesting thought that! 4,000 British passport holders enjoying the rights, freedoms and privileges of various international conventions and visa programmes governing freedom of movement and they're intent of blowing the crud out of you!

FACT : British imperial mercenaries and their local soldiers have been killing men, women and children in these regions for hundreds of years.

Why are Britist troops there ?

...... which "British Troops"? Those serving under unified command with Her Majesty's Forces or those serving with the Taliban under Bin Laden?.....(written with a trace of irony )

FACT : British imperial mercenaries and their local soldiers have been killing men, women and children in these regions for hundreds of years.

...... indeed which is why Her Majesty's Forces are in Afghanistan trying to protect the Afghan population from those mercenaries from Britain, Morocco, Syria etc.
