This was painful for me to watch as I'm a Chomsky fan and I think 9/11 was an inside job.

    http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/2006/08/noam-chomsky-makes-sense.html

There are a lot of other anti-establishment pundits who still maintain that terrorists flew the planes into the towers and the government took advantage of the situation to start oil wars.

    http://www.michaelparenti.org/articles.html

These videos convinced me that 9/11 was an inside job.

I think all of those pundits above think the government planned and carried out 9/11 but are afraid to say so. They all probably have grandchildren. Anybody with grandchildren can be blackmailed. If any of those guys above started saying that 9/11 was an inside job, their grandchildren might start having "Accidents".

I've read this analysis of the limits that Chomsky won't cross.
    http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?id=3632
    http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/article.asp?id=3633

He never talks about the Bilderberg group.
    http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Ruling_Elites/BilderbergClub.html

We can't rule out the theory put forward in that article but I also think it's possible that Chomsky hasn't been crossing those lines because he knows what might happen to his loved ones. His works have been devastating to the US government. He has informed a lot of people about American Imperialism.

The government doesn't just knock off all of these pundits because it would be too obvious. Most of those pundits stay within the same limits that Chomsky stays within. I wonder if some goons from the government paid visits to all of those pundits and made them an offer they couldn't refuse--stay within these limits, or your grandchildren will start to have "Accidents".

Look at what Steve Kangas used to write.

    Look what happened to him.
    http://www.google.es/search?hl=en&q=who+killed+steve+kangas&btnG=Search

He got killed a little before 9/11. He was pretty young and didn't have any grandchildren. I don't think he even had any children. He was someone people listened to. I wonder if he was bumped off because the government figured he'd wouldn't give in to blackmail and publicly say he thought 9/11 was an inside job.

Scott, just a quick word to you because of time limitations and I was really going to another thread in this category.

I found that tremendously disappointing also; I was not a Chomsky admirer really but I did admire a few things he had done.

As a matter of fact, I used to be on another discussion board and my criticism of Chomsky for that "What does it matter?" attitude ...was what got me embroiled in a serious quarrel with the host which eventually led to many of my posts being deleted (which is why I left that board and came here).

    More on this later hopefully.

This is just high comedy. The mere fact that all of these websites are still up and running and the makers of "Loose Change" are still alive and talking is enough to convince me that there was no 9/11 conspiracy.

If the government's willing to kill 3,000 people as you contend, then what's a few more to cover up their plan? Do you really think that the President and his administration would let a couple of punk college kids foil their elaborate plan?

You guys are ridiculous. Get a girlfriend.

    A little defensive USMC ?

They are still alive for the same reason Jack Murtha will still be alive tomorrow, because it would be just a tad obvious if the creator of Loose Change turned up dead.

And I have a girl friend thank you.

Not defensive, just frustrated. Step away from the kool-aid and tin foil for just one second and think about what your suggesting: that the United States government orchestrated an attack that killed 3,000 of its own citizens.

Chomsky's right -- with the amount of people that it would have taken to coordinate such an event, the plan would have unquestionably leaked. No one is stupid enough to try that.

Well if the creator of loose change turned up dead today, then yeah, it would look suspicious. But if the government really did orchestrate this attack, then they would've had experts patrolling the internet for any 9/11 conspiracy material and Loose Change would've been ripped off the internet in seconds.

    I'll take your word.

Every time I respond, they just pick a new thread and start all over again. Their minds are already made up. It's sad really, when people can be so easily convinced by a crappy youtube video slapped together by a bunch of people who list a number of coincidences while playing scary music and showing images of Hitler's Reichstag fire.

You underestimate the stupidity of some but I am sure it was on a need-to-know basis.

I wonder why you're interested about our girlfriends in the first place lol. Would you like to see photos ?
Are you trying to say that Americans should just eat, sleep, f*** like bunnies and get any news they need from Condi's Boys at Fox ?

You missed my entire point. On another note however, I do believe that certain restrictions should be placed on the internet.

No. I'm not interested. I just said "get a girlfriend" because it would give you something to do other than watch so many fictional conspiracy videos on you tube that you actually start believing some of it. I could've said "get a hobby" or "get a job" or "go fly a kite".

The guy that created Loose Change was a nobody college student. If some secret organization managed to sneak a ton of explosives into some of the most heavily trafficked buildings in the world without being noticed and created the most elaborate murder plot in the history of mankind, dont you think they could done away with one more college kid before he made his little video? You make the claim that these people covered up the murder of thousands, but they can't manage to kill one guy that tries to expose them. Are we really supposed to believe that?

I meant before the video was released. If these people are as powerful as the conspiracy theorists make them out to be, then why could they not conceal the release of some half-assed movie made by some college student? According to the conspiracy theorists, they've killed thousands already, what's one more college student to the pile.

While we're at it, the manpower involved in rigging explosives of that magnitude would be enormous. How do you ensure that the entire Bush administration, air traffic control, the NSA, the CIA, dozens of military contractors, rescue workers, firefighters, and the majority of the House of Representatives go along with it?

You make perfect sense. As I've said earlier in this thread -- with the amount of people it would've taken to orchestrate this, it would've inevitably leaked.
