Do you think it odd that your God never acknowledges you? Is that rude?

We all have a God. I say that in the broader sense of the word, as God is an ideal you have created for yourself. From atheism to fundamental, you will, in that sense, have a God/Ideal, be God your God natural or supernatural.

God/ideals can only be exhibited or expressed through a person.

We all give plenty to our Gods and their human mouth pieces, --- mostly false prophets if the bible speaks the truth, --- yet God never acknowledges what you do for him or her.

I, as a Gnostic Christian clergy, self-appointed (as is fit), has been acknowledged and do not include myself in the “you” of the opening question.

Why does God not acknowledge all but the few?

Why are you, of the supernatural God type, a cash cow and devoted slave to what amounts to a deadbeat parent and absentee God and his less than moral religion thanks to lying clergy?

You love God but the lack of acknowledgement from God shows that God does not love you back. That means that it is not a true love. This is in accordance to the standard that Jesus set. It is a shame that the Jesus followers, Christians and Muslims, will not do as he bids them do, as was the Jewish tradition of archetypal prophets, and elect a new God that might return your love.

Can you forgive a rude God?

    Regards
    DL

Ok,well nice song.As for god, where to start?I see you call yourself gnostic bishop,I was looking up some gnostic beliefs recently, they believe that the creator god is evil, indeed a satan, also calling him,it,the demiurge. They believe there's a better good god and a higher world or heaven and that basically this world is evil. Some of them believe that Lucifer gave the truth to humans and this is the real story of Adam and Eve the serpent and the tree of knowledge. It's all fascinating stuff.

Our myths are indeed interesting, but you seem to think we believe our myths to be what we believe. That is not so as there is no supernatural content to our beliefs.

Our myths were written to put against the Christian myth before Christians became literalist reading fools.

This link will bring you up to speed.

    https://bigthink.com/videos/what-is-god-2-2

Perhaps I can best help explain what we believe by telling you what we call our God.

Modern Gnostic Christians name our God "I am", and yes, we do mean ourselves.

You are your controller. I am mine. You represent and present whatever mind picture you have of your God or ideal human, and so do I.

The name "I Am" you might see as meaning something like, --- I think I have grown up thanks to having forced my apotheosis through Gnosis and meditation.

In Gnostic Christianity, we follow the Christian tradition that lazy Christians have forgotten that they are to do. That is, become brethren to Jesus.

That is why some say that the only good Christian is a Gnostic Christian.

Here is the real way to salvation that Jesus taught.

Matthew 6:22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Allan Watts explain those quotes in detail.

Joseph Campbell shows the same esoteric ecumenist idea in this link.

The bible just plainly says to put away the things of children. The supernatural.

If you are not your own guide and God, then tell us who your God is.

Interesting videos,my answer to your original questions are no.If someone wants the truth they need to think and meditate. It's their own journey. If there is a better god than this world's creator then that's the god I am,I must be spirit and a spirit warrior.Big talk from a little man that knows nothing, this is the paradox,. the quest.

So you do not think it rude to ignore those who bring you gifts and love.

    Ok.

Rather poor and uncouth manners that, but ok.

We are to emulate God in all things and if the world agreed with you, gifting would likely end as we generally like to be appreciated and acknowledge for what good we do.

I think it strange that you do not.

The way I'm thinking these days is if the god creator of this world is evil, then it doesn't care what I feel. If,as I'm beginning to believe, there is a greater good god, that wants my spirit to be free, then that's the god I may learn from, and may even be helped by.Thanks again for the videos.

You are welcome. Your quest is a viable one.

What you seek seems to me is what Gnostic Christianity, Buddhism and Karaite Jewry offers. Freedom of thought that the other religions will deny you as all they want is either obedience if Christian or submission if Muslim. Both are slave wanting religions where freedom of thought is denied.

You are following this good advise.

1 Thessalonians 5:21 Test all things; hold fast what is good.

You are thus rejecting the immoral mainstream religions.

I think it rude that one would assume that all are never acknowledged by God.

I think it ethnocentric as well.

This is not an assumption. It is a fact if you read what Jesus said that any believer could do with even just a bit of belief or faith. You have read your bible. Right?

Instead of just being a reactive mimic, care to deal with the question at hand and tell us why you follow a deadbeat dad and absentee father?

Try coherence instead of just a brain dead reaction.

    Your thread is a joke.

It's full of assumptions according to the standards of your culture and understanding.

Here's a news flash for you.

Not everyone sees God, religion, or worship according to your perspective.

Trying to pigeon hole everyone into answering your canned questions is a ..... well, a joke !!

    Dude ....

You don't know anything about me.

Your assumption threads appear to just be an avenue for you to spew your hatred for whoever the hell you are hating on at the moment.

Good luck with all that psychobabble bullshit.

Just a note of caution.if this Prick is genocidal and killed his own son, poking him
with a stick may not be in your best interest.

Had you been attentive during the news reports lately, you should know that the
best results could be obtained by taking a knee during the Lords Prayer.
