At this time NO ONE (not even you. . .) knows whom Macron really is and what he will be able to do. But it is clear that ⅔ of French people and probably 4/5 of all European people decided that they preferred this "unknown" entity to another "Trump," female or not, in a position of power!

Being an investment banker (especially such a young one!) is nothing "bad," it all depends on what that investment banker does with his power to influence those he serves. . .being investors or the populace.

And, you have NO PROOF that Macron used his huge gift as an investment banker to screw people. . .
However, we do have LOADS of proofs that TRUMP screwed people to get his billions. . .and also to get his presidency.

So. . .I will very much enjoy watching how this Macron presidency develops. In the mean time, Le Pen and FALSE populism has been squashed. . .at least for the time being! And I must say that, Europe watching the failure that is Trump's presidency is a good omen for Europe, as NO ONE here wants to replicate that failure of a president!

By the way, I heard a funny little comment on French radio today (actually, not French radio, but Luxembourg radio). Allow me to translate it for you:
"This is historical! It is the first time ever that a French President has a better command of the English language than a US President!"

So sad. . .and yet so true!
