got kids ? like in Minnesota ? BOHICA

your governor, by exec order mind you, will be forcing child care workers to unionize

does he really have such power there ?

I picture a flash underground cottage industry popping up. what an insane blow to the po folks who require childcare and can probably barely afford it as is.

No, he doesn't have such power.

From the actual executive order, after a whole lot of Whereas statements, it states that an election will be held to determine whether a union will represent subsidized child care workers.

Amazing how many bricks can be made from a handful of straw, isn't it?

the gov will not be forcing them to Unionize, but nice try.

Technically I would have to agree with you.

If a minority of the child care workers vote to unionize and as a result all of the child care workers must join a union then and only then can we say that those who either did not vote or voted against it were forced to join a union. The governor would not be the one who forced them it would be the laws that make Minnesota not a right to work state.

The governor is merely manipulating the process to reach the end wherein some people are forced to join a union. But that won't be much consolation for those that are forced to join.

All states should be right to work states.
