"Helping" the Poor?

Actually, in my hometown there is a boom in call centers because people cannot understand East Indian accents. Of course, note the action to move call centers to my town wasn't done out of love for the working people, but rather complaints from customers. I have yet to see a company which generates decisions on anything other than profit potential.

While I'm not naive enough to think that businesses will always put their customers first over profit, I do think that they need to listen to their customers more.

If a rival business advertises that they will always use UK based customer services and start to pick up more and more customers, you'd think that they'd look again at their decision to outsource.
