No. We don't need to give them anything and especially troops on the ground. We don't know who these people are. Al Qaeda is in there helping the rebels go after Assad. The radicals have just taken over Egypt and it's not in our interests to help Al Qaeda take over Syria. Al Qaeda is our worst enemy. If we go after anybody it should be them.

I always suspect Putin of disinformation.
It was what he was all about in the KGB.

I suspect none of us will know what really happens in that area for a while.
