You can't possibly be that hypocritical! But I don't believe you are that stupid either, so. . .what is wrong with you?

Unemployment was already going up a lot before the 2008 crisis, and took and sky rocketed following that world wide crisis. . . Obama started CREATING jobs immediately (see rhe "bikini graph") , contrary to what was happening under Bush. The job creation could just not keep up with the terrible economic downturn caused by Bush taxcuts, Bushe's wars, and Bushe's deregulations.

Lesson for Obama: History Not Kind to Presidents with High Unemployment Rates
President Obama may have gotten some bad news last week about his re-election prospects when the Congressional Budget Office predicted that the nation's unemployment rate will be 8.2 percent come Election Day 2012.

The only president ever to win re-election with a jobless rate that high was FDR during the Great Depression. In 1932 the jobless rate was 23.6 percent, in 1936 it was 16.9 percent, and in 1940 14.6 percent.

In fact, those years are the only ones in history when the nation's unemployment rate has been that high during an election.

More recent history does not bode well for Obama.

In 1992, incumbent George Bush was defeated by Bill Clinton with the unemployment rate at 7.4 percent. In 1980, incumbent Jimmy Carter was sent packing by voters who opted for Ronald Reagan at a time when the jobless rate was 7.5 percent. And in 1976 incumbent Gerald Ford was ousted by Carter with the jobless rate at 7.8 percent.

Another worrisome sign for the administration is that if the unemployment rate is 8.2 percent in November 2012, that would be an increase from what it was when he took office -- 7.7 percent.http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/obama-survive-high-unemlpoyment-fdr-reelected-unemployment-2012/story?id=12806938

Can you read that? BO took office the rate was 7.7%. What is it now after nearly three years of his socialist leadership?

The CBO claims unemployment rate will be 8.2% on election day next year. I am betting it will be much higher, which is why he and his party will get smoked.

where does that state that the unemployment rate is Obama's fault? It doesn't. and it is becoming more evident to ever more people that the GOP are blocking any attempt by the Obama adminisration to create jobs, since the " GOP job creators are unwilling to do so, since it would then help Obama be reelectred. . . Which is the last thing they want!)

What does work GREATLY in Obama's favor, in spite of the high level of unemployment, are his constant efforts to help the unemployed, and to bring factual ways to create jobs.

and also, of course, the bunch of hypocritical ( except for Ron Paul) jockers that consist "The best candidates" the right has to offer!

He said unemployment would go no higher than 8.5% if he got his stimulus. he got it. it got far worse.

Then he quit in favor of ramming socialized medicine through, then the so-called Wall Street reform etc. all the while unemployment was tanking. his priorities doomed this.

its his fault.

"FAR worse?" 9.1% is not that "far worse" than 8.5%, unless you are unemployed, and it is obvious that the GOP and their supporters do not CARE about the unemployed. . . just about the lack of profit that and the bad economy that follows!

Unemployment "tanked" prior to the health care bill passing. . .and has remained fairly steady since then. . . although many jobs have been created, not enough to compensate for the jobs lost, and not enough to compensate for the "job creators" REFUSING to . . .create jobs!

but 9.8 is far worse than 7.8.

stimulus also came before health insurance reform, didn't work and that was easy to see if one was focused like a laser... on jobs.

The stimulus did work, or we would have been in deep depression.

We all know where that huge unemployment came from. . .and it is not from Obama.

You can repeat your party line as often as you want, facts are there to see for any rational, honest person.

The metric Obama set to define success was 8.5% Fail.

You are correct, the facts ARE and explain why the public is very unhappy with the administration's economic policies.

If you get down to it, and really examine it through the lens of the Keynesian ideology, for your statement to make sense (and still account for what occured) we would have been in a massive recession -- with growth rates far below what anyone was predicting at the time.

Let's face it, we got it wrong with the stimulus.

We all know where that huge unemployment came from. . .and it is not from Obama.

Do tell where it came from? Bush tax cuts almost a decade before? Yea right.

There are facts out there to be debated, but you are simply repeating the D party line, and trying to pass it off as the rational moderate centrist.
