A female hockey coach in Winnipeg is now facing several criminal charges after the alleged exploitation and abuse of a player she previously coached.

Madison Biluk, 28, has been charged with 15 offenses, which includes sexual interference, sexual assault, assault with a weapon, sexual exploitation, luring a person under the age of 16, and possession of child pornography, according to Yahoo Sports.

The alleged abuse started when Biluk was coaching the victim as a teenager. The abuse apparently spanned from 2019 to 2021, and it even stretched beyond Biluk coaching the victim. The abuse appears to have occurred over the COVID-19 pandemic, when many ice rinks across Canada and the U.S. were closed.
