If the Warsaw Uprising had been reported like Gaza

Some of their land has been handed back Aboriginals can vote. This is in constrast to the Jewish treatment of the Arab settlers of Palestine.
Palestinians were given land and voted Hamas into power. Hamas does not want "compensation", they will settle for nothing less than the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews. Those of you who side with Palestine do not seem to understand what that means, or you simply choose to believe it's not true. Hamas, and the people who support them, would rather die than compromise. The Israeli's should grant them their request.

Gaza is predominantly Palestinian but the West Bank is being shared between Israelis and Palestinians, which creates a situation similar to Northern Ireland and breeds terrorism. Israeli Arabs are treated equally by the Jewish state and they are also royal to Israel rather than the Arab cause to seek the destruction of Israel and the conflict over Hamas' rocket attacks only strengthened its position in Gaza. Many Israelis prefer to maintain the status quo but the emergence of the Palestine state is inevitable and Hamas would stop terrorising Israel once a peace settlement is reached within the framework.

According to whom? Not according to Hamas:

Hamas leader Mahmoud Al Zahhar:

We have liberated Gaza but have we recognized Israel? Have we given up our lands occupied in 1948? We demand the liberation of the West bank, and the establishment of a state in the West Bank and Gaza, with Jerusalem as its capital - but without recognizing Israel. This is the key - without recognizing Israel on a single inch of land. This is our plan for this stage - to liberate the West Bank and Gaza, without recognizing Israel's right to a single inch of land, and without giving up the right of return for a single Palestinian refugee.

Our plan for this stage is to liberate any inch of Palestinian land, and to establish a state on it.

Our ultimate plan is (to have) Palestine in its entirety. I say this loud and clear so that nobody will accuse me of employing political tactics. We will not recognize the Israeli enemy. As for the issue of a referendum - (the Palestinian Authority) is ready to impose its position on people by force. Whoever wants to hold a referendum, and believes that he can get all of Palestine for the Palestinians, can hold a referendum, but we will not give up the platform of resistance, and the plan is to liberate Palestine in its entirety. This is unequivocal.

Hamas does not recognize Israels right to exist AT ALL, it has openly and repeatedly stated that its ultimate goal is the destruction of Israel and the death of all Jews, it has openly and repeatedly stated that it will use terrorism as a means to that end - regardless of what concessions Israel makes. I would like to know what you're basing your opinion on, because it's not based on facts, wishful thinking perhaps, but certainly not facts.

Britain is ready to back Palestinian statehood at the UN along with France and the UN's official recognition of a Palestinian state would weaken Hamas considerably because armed struggle is no longer necessary when Palestinian statehood is achieved without it. Hamas cannot exist without relying on strong Palestinian support and the key UN vote could change the dynamic of Palestine politics for good and help the Palestinians to overcome the victim mindset.

Third Term you are right once Palestine has its own state things will get better. Today in the UN there will be a vote to give the Palestine State non voting rights. Most countries will vote for it . Only the USA and its lackeys will vote against it. Australia will abstain

Things will get better you say. In what way? If you two are trying to claim that statehood will stop the warring actions by the Palis against the Jews, you are dreaming.

Hamas' status as a non-state actor gives it total freedom to terrorise Israel without facing prosecution of any kind at the moment but once Palestine becomes a non-member observer state, the PA will have to rein in Hamas and Hamas would not be able to launch major terror attacks backed by the Palestine state any more but racial animosities between the Israelis and Palestinians will persist with intensity like the Korea-Japan relations and Koreans used to terrorise Japanese authorities in the colonial era and assassinated a Governor-General but it petered out once Japan withdrew from the Korean Peninsula and Korea became independent.

Hamas is the military wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, with the backing of Iran. It's no mistake that Arafat was an Egyptian. And he was militarily trained in the Soviet Union. The old Soviet Russia had just as much to do with the problems in the middle east as anyone. They even intitiated the 6 day war.

Hamas isn't going anywhere, state or no state. The Palestinian territories are too divided to form a state. What about Fatah? No one talks about them anymore.

It's utterly delusional to think Palestinians want peace with Israel...

6 in 10 Palestinians reject 2-state solution, survey finds

73% of 1,010 Palestinians in W. Bank, Gaza agree with 'hadith' quoted in Hamas Charter about the need to kill Jews hiding behind stones, trees.

The Israel Project is trying to reach out to the Arab world to promote “people-to-people peace.” The poll appears to indicate that the organization has a difficult task ahead.

Respondents were asked about US President Barack Obama’s statement that “there should be two states: Palestine as the homeland for the Palestinian people and Israel as the homeland for the Jewish people.”

Just 34% said they accepted that concept, while 61% rejected it.

Sixty-six percent said the Palestinians’ real goal should be to start with a two-state solution but then move to it all being one Palestinian state.

Palestine was vote in as a non Voting state in the UN. only 7 supported the USA opposition

A Palestinian state won't change much of anything. Islamic radicals insist upon the elimination of Israel and the Israeli people. How well are other Islamic nations doing at controlling radicalism? Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Egypt, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, and on and on and on!

What can possibly be the common denominator in those countries? It's very strange that a tiny country with only 6 million jews are the obsession of more than a billion muslims.
