Is the GOP right to call the war on terror a war on fascism?

The new buzz term has become "fascism"... the war on terror is now a war on Islamic fascism, I personally think that the GOP are grasping at straws with this one. They seem to be trying to come up with new names for the same old war, perhaps in an effort to vilify the enemy??
    What do you think?

really i do not think it is helpful at all and as you said i think more of a way to vilify the enemy then to actually create a productive strategy. It also makes it easier to ignore the failures of our own policies (ie Iraq).

not to mention the fact that it is being degrading to an entire group of people... they arent all the enemy.
