IS THIS--The "Summer of Recovery", I'm Still Waiting

there is nothing he can do now, his actions hasve precipitated this and I cannot conceive of any way to stop it.

it was easily avoidable had he taken proper actions all along.

Such as...? Perhaps, before he was even a Senator, he could have flown to Europe, and advised them against allowing countries into the EU that were not deserving of it because of their government debt and GDP failings. Perhaps he could have, in 2006, made some kind of appeal to Greece, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Portugal, warning them that they were about to commit economic suicide; and, they would have listened! Perhaps, he could have gone back to when they were first bringing about the Euro and explained to them the folly of one currency affecting several diverse and culturally different economies and how the monetary policy that would be followed by the ECB would not be sufficient. Are these the things he should have done to stop this looming European crisis?

or maybe concentrate on recovery instead of healthcare
or maybe put all these job killing regs on hold
or maybe not throw a trillion down the toilet on pork and useless attempts to delay govt union layoffs

any number of things
