Joe Biden gave a "creepy" speech over the weekend

Israel won't do anything.

It's not just Iran they're up against. They know Iran's big step-brother Russia is standing nearby with a set of brass knuckles just in case any conflict in that region looks like it might go pro-american interest.

No conflict will happen.

What Biden most likely meant was that no matter who gets in the Oval Office next January, they're going to have a huge mess to tangle with and will have to make unpopular decisions to clean it up.

Occam's razor.

He meant what he said.

And americans have become so posh and flabby that anything they consider popular, like a kid in a candy store being told "no" in favor of a nutritional more spartan dinner, probably is bad for us. We, as a nation, have become politically stupid....led around by the nose-ring of commercialism and over-indulgence. We are spoiled, lazy and fat, and that is what Biden is talking about when he warns the change coming we may not like so much. But like eating our brocolli instead of the twentieth helping of cheesecake, we will be more stable and fit in the end for it.

Joe "The Gaff" Biden likes to talk, keep on talking baby and you'll get something right. At least he is honest. You think he would make a good president?

To be honest, none of the people on either ticket would be my first pick. My first pick was and still would be Hillary Clinton and of course her husband Bill in there with her (implied).

But instead we have who we have. And of the four choices I will rank them in the order I would feel comfortable with as being president.

1. Joe Biden

2. Barack Obama

3. John McCain

(and I don't even want to give her a preference number because of how horrible the idea of her being president is)

Sarah Palin.

And this bears saying: No matter how enthusiastic the right pretends to be about Sarah Palin, the thought of her actually running this country in these troubled times causes even the strongest stomachs to pop a couple of antacids in the privacy of the voting booth.

Biden makes his comments and what happens? They remove him from the Campaign trail and hide him in seclusion where he can't be bothered to explain himself.

Those of us who heard what he said are curious as to specifics... Yet, you come in here ASSERTING that you know exactly what he MEANT to say... which, oddly enough, is exactly what the Talking Heads from your party were saying last night on their shows.

So, Rob was correct... The Left had to wait for talking points to surface before reacting to this news and now, they offer the talking points as though its fact when they don't coincide, at all, with the actual comments.

Biden mentioned there were 4 or 5 scenarios saying that at least ONE of them WOULD happen, if and when, Obama won the presidency. "They want to test him, just like they tested JFK"

Sorry Silhoutte, I don't buy what your shoveling now any more than I bought into your crackpot theories about "Big Oil" companies running every aspect of our country.

Something big will happen with Obama as pres and his response will ANGER the American public, prompting them to turn on Obama just as they did on Bush after the invasion of Iraq. Thats what Biden was trying to convey to his donors, he doesn't want the public and the media to do to Obama what it did to Bush...

Well Mr. Biden... I will be on the front lines, using recycled rhetoric that was used against Bush, encouraging others to undermine every aspect of the Obama administration - Should you be lucky enough to actually win that is.

This is highly debatable. Russia will stop meaningful sanctions in the UN, but they are not going to intervene to stop an Israeli attack. Russia has a big interest in not seeing a nuclear Iran as well.

How come when Phil Gramm said that he was raped in the press for it?

How about, not even close to reasonable?

"There will be an international Crisis...They want to test him, just like they tested JFK"

Talk about non-sequitors.... You read Bidens comments, as shown above, and then try to make the case that Biden was "most likely" trying to say Americans are stupid and lazy.

Of course, since you also think the CIA runs our Media, and the Oil Companies run our government, I guess its right on par for your thought process.

What Biden most likely meant was that no matter who gets in the Oval Office next January, they're going to have a huge mess to tangle with and will have to make unpopular decisions to clean it up. .

That is not at all what Joe Biden said. He was very specific to what he said..

"It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy”

He is not saying above that the world will test the next president or who ever wins. He is very specific that the world will test Obama.

“Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

Again He is not saying who ever gets the job, he says this guy, meaning Obama

You did a poor job of trying to spin his words so it can mean who ever is the next president. He was very clear he was talking about Obama.

And americans have become so posh and flabby that anything they consider popular, like a kid in a candy store being told "no" in favor of a nutritional more spartan dinner, probably is bad for us. I don’t think Biden is talking about eating your broccoli or anything else that mundane.

This below text was said to Obama supporters, the base. He was telling them that even they won’t like what they plan to do and surly people like me will literally hate it.

“Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, 'Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?' We're gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I'm asking you now, I'm asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you're going to have to reinforce us."
"There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, 'Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don't know about that decision',"
"Because if you think the decision is sound when they're made, which I believe you will when they're made, they're not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they're popular, they're probably not sound."

Nothing in the above text is as simple as you tried to twist it to seem.
No wonder they took Biden off the campaign and sent him home for a bit of rest
I still like Biden and kind of admire that he is trying to send a warning. If I didn’t know better I’d say he was trying to lose the election.

Again, nothing about his comments last weekend was about who ever becomes president. The comments were directly about Obama and the choices he will make as president.

I think you are about the only left minded person who posted on the topic, that alone I give you credit for. But I can’t buy a single word you said.

This is what Biden was referring to.

It seems Biden was right about being tested, no matter who gets elected.

Nice try...

"Sen. Barack Obama., D-Ill., will be tested by an international crisis.."

"I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities.

NOT ONCE DID BIDEN MENTION A DOMESTIC CRISIS!!!
