    :mad:Another Obama media cover up:

In 2000, Rashid Khalidi, a former PLO operative who justified Palestinian terrorism as contributing to "political enlightenment," threw a fundraiser for his friend Barack Obama.

Although he is described as a former PLO operative, via Free Republic, this is what Rashid Khalidi has to say about Palestinian terrorism against Jews-- he said anti-Israel violence contributed to "political enlightenment":

On Palestinian violence. Khalidi glorifies anti-Israel violence as contributing to “political enlightenment”[vii] and unsurprisingly admires those who carry it out. His loyalty to Palestinian terrorist groups run so deep that he actually dedicated his 1986 valentine to the PLO, Under Siege, to “those who gave their lives . . . in defense of the cause of Palestine and independence of Lebanon.”[viii] The book whitewashes PLO violence against Israelis and Lebanese, as well as the Syrian occupation.
The LA Times wrote an article about Obama's association with Rashid Khalidi in April:

It was a celebration of Palestinian culture -- a night of music, dancing and a dash of politics. Local Arab Americans were bidding farewell to Rashid Khalidi, an internationally known scholar, critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinian rights, who was leaving town for a job in New York.

A special tribute came from Khalidi's friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi's wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking.

In 2000, the Khalidis held a fundraiser for Obama's unsuccessful congressional bid. The next year, a social service group whose board was headed by Mona Khalidi received a $40,000 grant from a local charity, the Woods Fund of Chicago, when Obama served on the fund's board of directors...

At Khalidi's going-away party in 2003, the scholar lavished praise on Obama, telling the mostly Palestinian American crowd that the state senator deserved their help in winning a U.S. Senate seat. "You will not have a better senator under any circumstances," Khalidi said.

The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.
The LA Times acknowledged it has a video of this tribute Barack Obama gave to the Khalidis at their going away party.
But, the LA Times won't release this video before the election.
Is it because of the other guests who were at the party?... Perhaps Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn?
Khalidi and Ayers were practically best friends.
And, both Ayers and Obama signed the commemorative book given to Khalidi at his going away party.

It's hard to imagine that the LA Times would hold onto a video of Sarah Palin praising an anti-Israeli radical and former PLO operative...
But, that is today's mainstream media.

This is how Obama describes his relationship with Rashid Khalidi

Obama's advisor forced to resigned after having talks with HAMAS during the primaries

Watch the comments from Obama about his relationship with Rashid Khalidi towards the end of the video. These comments are seen live in the video that the L.A. Times is suppressing

That is not the same thing that he told that jewish guy in Boca Raton, FL.

Can we really trust this guy after knowing his radical relationship and the fact that he can't never tell us the truth?

What are this guy's plans if he became the next president? Is there a hidden Obama agenda?

It would seem that if you had a legitimate argument to make this go away, you would present it. You offered no such argument.

Now we can all sit back and wait for the next great picture to be posted in response to my post.

Just once I would like to hear a decent rebuttal. If it is so blatantly obvious there is no story, it should be pretty easy to explain.

Somehow yelling "freeper" does not quite do it.

It's amazing how we're willing to jeopardize our liberty and our home security just because we hate the current president so much that we're willing to put a guy who only has a speech on his resume and an unknown background....

    this is ridiculous...

Couldn't have said it better CaliDem!! *clapping*

Not only does obama not have a resume, but the credentials he does possess would not allow him to even be a body guard for a sitting or ex President!!

And while you're at it,in the interest of full disclosure, let them know about this as well:

McCain Funded Work Of Palestinian His Campaign Hopes To Tie To Obama

During the 1990s, while he served as chairman of the International Republican Institute (IRI), McCain distributed several grants to the Palestinian research center co-founded by Khalidi, including one worth half a million dollars.

A 1998 tax filing for the McCain-led group shows a $448,873 grant to Khalidi's Center for Palestine Research and Studies for work in the West Bank. (See grant number 5180, "West Bank: CPRS" on page 14 of this PDF.)

The relationship extends back as far as 1993, when John McCain joined IRI as chairman in January. Foreign Affairs noted in September of that year that IRI had helped fund several extensive studies in Palestine run by Khalidi's group, including over 30 public opinion polls and a study of "sociopolitical attitudes."

The thread is about how the MEDIA hides the information about Obama and has not vetted the candidate.

McCain has been investigated thoroughly and has a 20 year record in the senate so we know who he is.

A careful analysis of the association of McCain with Khalidi will show it to be just an association and we don't believe in guilt by association in the US.

Whereas a careful analysis of the association of Obama with Khalidi is being resisted greatly and with every new fact that emerges we learn that Obama has multiple alliances with despicable people which indicate a pattern.

That is exactly right! great post by the way.

The whole issue about these threads is to depict Obama's patterns. He has a pattern of associating himself with radicals. There's a history that trails back from his days in college.
This is very scary when a guy who's trying to become the next president of the most powerful country in the world.
Yet, the press who has never questioned his character is now helping him by hiding evidence that can be hurful to his campaing...

It's AMAZING what they're letting obama get away with - close associations with communists, terrorist bombers, crooks, racists, islamofascists. ANY of that would have torpedoed any other politician's campaign in an eye blink. What's next - child molesters?
