I can't help but wonder if he is retiring because his numbers have steadily been on the decline for the past couple years. Having watched his show only a few times in the past couple years myself, I must say he doesn't conduct very good interviews. Anderson Cooper is really the only show that causes anyone to tune into cnn at night. Which begs the question how much longer will CNN and MSNBC be able to chart in the slums of news TV without major changes. I wish I could say something like I'm gonna miss you Larry, but I can't, so I'll just say....hope retirement treats you well.
