Why in the Sam Hill would we want a President who doesn't even remember what he talked about yesterday? He was a POW and went through a lot but that does not sway me to vote for him at his age. He is in the autumn years of his life . . . . in the dawn of his senility. Heck, he's probably planning on a wonderful vacation in peaceful Baghdad. Poor guy. Fortunately, he has enough money to retire while wondering "Who is Woodrow Wilson?" Bless his heart, but it's scary he's the Republican nominee.

That part I can agree with.

The only people running for president are disgusting liberals. Though he is not by far the most scary. The other guy is by far more detestable.

One thing I can say good about Obama though is he is a heck of a lot smarter than the Obama-bots who drool over him. He at least knows he has to try to hide who and what he really is to get enough votes to win. His followers wouldn't care what he is, they will vote for him anyways.

Neo-cons... when they're not fear mongering or frequenting airport restrooms for gay stall sex rondavous... they're hoping everyone has total amnesia as to how their Bush administration sent America to hell in a handbag! :D

Here's the comparison the American people really have...

What has serving our Country have to do with this topic?

I had my son on my 19th birthday, The Navy was the plan that did not work out for me. I dont think you have to serve your Country to have a say in politics do you?

Serving your country give one better insight on how this country works... McCain would just mean more of the same crap and to some effect so would Hitlery. Obama Surely couldn't do any worse than GW Shrub has...

Well I'll grant you that not long ago (before he needed neo-con money to run for President) every single major thing except the war McCain is now for or against... he was on the other side.

But now he has stated on every issue he is in line with George Bush policy. Bush has done a great job in his book.

Flip Floppin' to high heaven aside. McCain is Bush policy + maybe a hundred more years in Iraq... be fine with him he said.

That's why the comparison justifiably sticks. Easy to watch and see...

I think that yes he can do al ot worse, just in a differnt way. It makes me afraid to think of him sitting down with the leader of Iran to talk and make deals. We have to trust his judgement.... my 12 year old nephew figured out Obama had a racist, anti american pastor before Obama did. When I think about how much our intire country will be at the mercy of Obama's judgement... I really do panic!

Are you really serious about the 100 year thing? I am sure you know it’s taken out of context. I don’t see how you can not know that.

You know John Freaking Kerry, I really disliked that man but I was personally offended when they started those flip flop adds on him because he said “I voted for the bill before I voted against it” every one clearly knew what he meant. He voted for it, and then they added pork and asked him to vote again and he voted against it because of the pork, but everyone made it sound like he was flip flopping.

This thing with McCain is the same thing, and it offends me just as much that people think we are that stupid. McCain said as long as no soldiers were being killed as long as it was peaceful, he didn’t think the people cared if we were there 50 years, 100 years or even 1000 years. He meant in the same way we have troops in Germany and other peaceful places.

The same thing with the tax cuts. McCain never said he was against the tax cuts, he said he was against giving tax cuts with out ALSO cutting spending. He said it would be recklessly irresponsible. But instead they twist it saying he was against it now he is for it. Why do people think others are this stupid? I’ll call a spade a spade even if it means I have to defend someone as disgusting as John Freaking Kerry.

Well let's put it this way, if we weren't in the way in Iraq, do you honestly think that Israel would actually let Iran develop a Nuke?
Israel has 256 Nuclear weapons, half of which are ICBMs. Geeze Israel bombed the hell out of Syria because they suspected that they were developing a Nuke.
Hitlery Would bomb the crap out of them.
Personally If you want to get into the Rev. Write Issue (old news) then it should be in another thread. Besides Obama renounced Write.
You know little about foreign policy, First you have talks, then you use UN Sanctions then you work from there.
I know plenty about Iran since I sat 444 days off the coast of that Crap Hole of a country.
Besides, we have been at the mercy of Shrub's Judgement (or lack there of) for the past 7 1/2 years. Look at the mess that has got us in...

Like I said, Obama certainly couldn't do any worse than GW Shrub.

How do you define serving your country? Are you meaning military service?

As a 51 year old White middle class working guy I can tell ya... If your 12 year old nephew or you figure Obama is a racist... you got family problems to contend with. Leave the politicin' alone. We've got serious problems and we need someone who's intelligent and even handed for a change... like Senator Obama.

Requiring military service would count out Obama as well as the last two presidents. I don’t think an American needs to have served in the military to have a valid opinion on where our Country is going, but I think it would be a good experience for a president.
