Actually, I started off being liberal. It was because I started thinking for myself, starting learning things on my own, investigating the evidence surrounding the issues, that caused me to become a Constitutionalist, and reject liberal unsupportable crap.

It's the same as Geothermal power. When you said go learn about GeoPower, I did. The result was, I learned a good part of what you claimed wasn't true.

Same with every liberal view point. On the surface, at an uneducated view point, Liberal dogma seems very legitimate. But once you really research the fact surrounding those views, it all falls apart.

The liberal ideology seems very attractive to the average ignorant dogmatic partisan, that make up the majority of Obamabots.

I don't believe for a minute that McCain would change that much from Bush policies and I think he would be even more inclined than Bush to rush into war.

So your idea of "rush" is waiting 2 years, after a prior president spent the entire 8 years waiting?

I can see that we can't afford to continue an endless occupation in Iraq and after many years it's time to get out of there. There will still be the military costs of trying to destroy terrorists groups in Afghanistan and in the region as a whole but the concept of whole country occupation has to end soon.

We are, and have been, turning over control of province after province, consistently for a few years now. Obviously, unless you are blind, it's clear that we will be out of Iraq when the job is finished.

I'm whole heartedly (could not be more against) John McCain's wishes to privatize Social Security.

Unbelievable! Why why why? There is absolutely no logical reason to support a failing system!

In the 80s, they did a test where people were allowed to opt-out of Social Security. They were then allowed to put their payroll deducations into a private retirement firm. The result was, at worst they were paid 5 times as much.

Further, every year benefits are reduced, and costs are increased. Yet it still will be bankrupt in just a few years. How can you support this horrible system? Mathematically, you'd have to be a dope smoking idiot to support this.

And I have come to realize that some type of government action needs to be taken to reduce the cost of health care. For me it doesn't have to be a complete nationalized system but something better than what we have now. And certainly not more deregulation of it like John McCain was just recently putting forward as a good idea nor Taxing the benefit as he's now presenting. When you look at what family health insurance actually costs at the employer level (over 12K per year) that $5000 per family McCain wants to give combined with the new TAXABLE aspect it creates a terrible deal for both employer and employee.

This is a turning point in time. I know where we are now and it isn't good. I'm convinced from listening & looking at both side's positions that a President Obama would help improve our overall situation on several fronts much better than his opponent. [/COLOR]

You have only two options. More regulations (socialism), or deregulate (free market with individual responsibility). Those are the two options.

We know where socialism goes... people die. In the UK, you have to wait up to 2 months, just to get on a waiting list. Then on the list, you are likely to wait 6 weeks more. Then if you are referred to a specialist, you can wait another month or two. Then once you are recommended for surgery, you can wait years. A woman diagnosed with cancer, had to wait so long for surgery, the cancer became inoperable, and she died.

Bottom line, is you want socialism, which is what Obama is for, people will die. Cutting costs in health care terms, means fewer doctors, long waiting lists, poor service, and death.

Obama is a Constitutional Scholar... How many times has me talked about the importance of our founding principles and our most sacred document? Try never... He only studied the Constitution in order to more easily undermine it.
