This new Planned Parenthood ad uses McCain's awkward senior Viagra moment. I often wonder...what kind of a woman would vote for a mysogynist?

Right - someone who opposes the abortion of tens of millions of female fetuses is a "mysogynist". By that kind of backwards inside-out "logic", Elie Weisel is a nazi. :D The coverage of viagra is completely rational, since it is to correct a medical dysfunction, but only feminazis believe that pregnancy is a disease.

OMG! A presidential candidate actually admitted that he didn't know enough to make an informed answer to a question!

Now, that doesn't happen very often, does it?

no not often enough, but I do agree with the point about birth control should be covered if Viagra is. its not like if cant get it up you will die or something. And if want to stop abortions, how about helps top unwanted pregnancy in the first place and push for birth control. If you say just don't screw, then go back to your own little world where that's a rational idea that will actually happen.

That said, at least maybe the add will hit hard enough to make McCain look harder at some womans issues like that and be able to give a better view later in the Election.

McCain rarely gives an informed answer about anything. Just this morning he talked about a "hard struggle' on the Iraq-Pakistan border. Only one problem with that, the 2 countries don't share a border.

Lets see, off the top of my head...he has trouble with the difference between Shiite and Sunni, thinks Czechoslovakia is still in existence, and has mentioned Vladimir Putin as the president of Germany.

John McCain is either too old or too ignorant to be taking any calls at 3 AM.

Come to think of it, McCain wouldn't be expected to know why "insurance companies" cover Viagra, but not birth control.

I wonder just which insurance companies the questioner was talking about?
Do insurance companies generally cover Viagra, but not birth control?
Why would the president have any control over what private insurance companies do and don't cover?
It would seem to me to be counterproductive for insurance companies to not cover birth control, as maternity must be more expensive than the pill.

I didn't immediately think of the above on viewing the video, and I'm not sure McCain would either. I do think that they are valid questions, don't you?

I think he was talking about the issues on both borders, the Iran border with Iraq and the Afghan border of Pakistan and simply in his statement ran them togher in a way that sounded like it was one area, not 2. I think he knows, its simple something that happens when you dont sleep are on the road all the time, and repeat the same things over and over and over...your brain shuts off a bit and words come out wrong. Happens to all sides.

Boy you hit the nail right on that big malformed comb over head of his with that one!

AND LOOK WHAT HE'D DO TO WOMEN ON BIRTH CONTROL!!!!!!!!

Now that's just silly.

If that's the best nail you can hit to attack McCain, then there isn't much you can say against him.

He voted not to require insurance companies to provide birth control. That's it, that's the sum total of the facts embedded in that piece of emotional nonsense.

Should insurance companies be required to provide birth control, or should we just have that old, reliable free enterprise?

That said, there are some issues we could take with McCain. How about staying in Iraq indefinitely? Would he continue the disastrous policy of overspending? Is his energy policy really revolve around more drilling, to the exclusion of every other option?

But, then, those are just boring old issues, aren't they?

Exactly. Think how many questions you could ask the resident Obamaloons and get back a deer in the headlights stare - millions? :) billions? :D

Maybe Obama can show us the borders of america's "58 states". :D

Other McCain lapses, gaffes or signs that he is suffering from dementia and is too old to be POTUS.

“Somalia” for “Sudan”: As recounted in a reporter’s pool report from McCain’s Straight Talk Express bus on June 30, the senator said while discussing Darfur, a region of Sudan: "How can we bring pressure on the government of Somalia?"

Senior adviser Mark Salter corrected him: “Sudan.”

“Germany” for “Russia”: McCain referred to Vladimir Putin of Russia, following a trip to Germany, as “President Putin of Germany.”

This spring, McCain said troops in Iraq were “down to pre-surge levels” when in fact there were 20,000 more troops than when the surge policy began.

Also this spring, McCain twice appeared to mistake Sunnis and Shiites, two branches of Islam that split violently. On one notable occasion traitorous Joe Lieberman whispered the real facts in McCain's ear.

In Phoenix earlier this month, McCain referred to Czechoslovakia, which has been divided since Jan. 1, 1993, into the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He also referred to Czechoslovakia during a debate in November and a radio show in April.

McCain said earlier this month that as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, he had tried to confuse his captors by giving the names of Pittsburgh Steelers starting players when asked to identify his squadron mates. McCain has told the story many times over the years but always correctly referred to the names he gave as members of the Green Bay Packers.

Add to all that, he drools. This guy is way way too old.

Probably about as many as you could ask the McCain supporters.

Well, maybe not quite as many, as there are a lot more Obamaloons than there are McCainistas.

At least, that's the case in July. By November, the picture could change.

I didn't say it was the ONLY nail... :)

Hey I think the guy should be able to do a little more than a crummy imitation of Madonna's vogue dance when asked about coverage for women's medications.

I mean with men Viagra is a yes to get a stiffy... but with women it's a no for a safe place to put it.
:D

But you are right. As funny as his squirming is it's not the most important topic... you cited several good ones.
