Obama issues last-minute plea to call off Jan.26 eligibility hearing in GA court

most of the reporting I see originates in the eurozone.

Yes dear! And it is probably from an affiliate from Fox News!

By the way, you are really keeping me busy tonight. . .in fact almost all the time!
What would you do if you didn't have me to argue with?

Anyway, glad to oblige! ;)

Best news I heard all day! Just give me time to move out of this corner of the "smaller country!" I sure don't want to live in the South when they are left to their own device!

I am sure you would be better off in states that follow the socialist model of government. States like California, New Jersey, or Michigan. The economy in these states clearly reflect how well their government model is working. Even though southern states like Texas have the strongest economy, lowest taxes and highest job growth I am sure the mere idea that they are conservative and believe in capitalism would be much too difficult for someone such as yourself to handle.

But keep this in your "open" mind as well. If secession happens in this Country there will be many northern states and mid-western states as well as the south that will follow the Constitution and reject the European socialist model of government that many other states are already following! There will be no Mason-Dixon line this time! People like yourself will not be able to blame this one on the south again!

Well, Texas may be relatively successful (thanks in part to many Latino immigrants and the natural resources in that State. . .just like Alaska), but if you look at the whole of the other "Southern (RED) States" they are a huge mess in terms of economy: very high unemployment, very little safety net, very large gap between wealthy and poor, small middle class, and very little industry, especially "clean" and "sun up" industries. By the way, I lived for 15 years in California Central Coast. . .and my husband worked in Silicon Valley for over 20 years. So I know what California is all about.

RE: Social democracies as in European countries. . . first, I am not advocating that (the US is unfortunately not controlled by their people, but by their big corporations) but it is certainly a system that is gaining ground. . . Look at Canada and compare their economy to the US economy, and their safety net to the US safety net!

Obviously, you will only look at what you want to see.

What I see is a corrupt administration, which hopefully will be removed. http://campaign2012.washingtonexami...-state-numbers-predict-huge-obama-loss/352881

Today is the day the judge gave as a deadline for all parties to have their briefs etc. on file. He said that he would send his recommendation to the Geirgia SecState "shortly afterward".

The SecState must make his decision in this matter pretty soon. Early Voting for Georgia's March 6 "Super Tuesday" primary election, begins on Feb. 13. And there must be time to print the ballots and distribute them to voting centers, before that.

Will Obama be on those ballots, or not?

Relatively successful? We have the largest economy in the US and the largest growth in job creation in the private sector than any other state. Relatively successful ... no my dear .... I believe it is you "little miss can't be wrong" who "will only look at what you want to see."

Wikepedia:
The economy of Texas is one of the largest and most rapidly growing economies in the United States. In 2011, Texas is home to six of the top 50 companies on the Fortune 500 list and 51 overall, (third in line after New York with 57 Fortune 500 and then California with 53).[9] Texas has an economy that is the second largest in the nation and the 15th largest in the world based on GDP (nominal) figures. As the largest exporter of goods in the United States, Texas currently grosses more than $100 billion a year in trade with other nations.
In 2011, Texas had a gross state product of $1.332 trillion,[10] the second highest in the U.S.[11][12] Texas's Household income was $48,259 in 2010 ranking 25th in the nation, which is below the national average, but balances higher, in respect to the lower cost-of-living expenses.

Judge Malahi's secretary: Judge likely to make decision Fri evening or Mon morning

No Obama GA Verdict from Malihi YET, But…

Feb 03 2012
via Patricia Walston writing for the Atlanta examiner.com

The decision of Judge Malihi regarding the eligibility of President Barack Obama to be on the Georgia Presidential Preference Primary ballot on March 6, 2012, could be sent to the office of Secretary of State Brian P. Kemp soon.

In a phone conversation with Ms. Ruff, the Judge’s secretary, she stated that her impression was that the Judge would be making his final decision; and forwarding the case on to the Secretary of State’s office as early at this evening – or Monday morning.

(snip)

Matt Carrothers, Press Secretary at the Secretary of State’s Office, stated as of noon today, they had not yet received a decision from the Judge.

(snip)

Valerie Ruff, secretary to the Judge, stated a few moments ago that the word from the Judge is that his decision is likely to be sent to the Secretary of State’s office either this evening or Monday.

Judge Malihi in Atlanta, GA, has made his decision.

He did not comment as much on the evidence presented, as on the people doing the presenting.

The judge said that the person presening evidence of a fraudulent Social Security number was not, herself, a court-recognized expert on Social Security fraud. And the person who presented evidence of forgery on a birth certificate was not, himself, proven to the court as an expert on birth records, forged douments, or document manipulation. Etc. etc.

So, Judge Malihi ruled, the challenge to Obama's eligibility that was heard on Jan. 26, 2012, has failed, and he will recommend to the Georgia SecState that Obama be left on the Georgia ballot.

Was there ever any doubt for people with the ability to read for comprehension and a rational mind?

Don't worry, I'm sure the birther will come up with some even further fetch "conspiracy theory!"

so was that so hard ? did it need to take 4 years for a simple question ?

So the judge was not saying the accusations were false just that obama was not being accused by an "expert"?

yeah as I read the judge's ruling. as the experts were not documented as experts in the usual manner then their testimony could not be taken as valid. since the judge found prior rulings on the meaning of "natural born" as being moot if one was born here and given that it was not proven by nature of the witnesses presented that he was not, no dice.

HE WILL! :D

No dear, the judge found that the accusations, once again, had no merit, that the "experts" were no experts, and that since there is no doubt that Obama was born in Hawaii, he is a Natural Born Citizen, no matter if ONE of his parents was not a citizen, and no matter if, as a child, he was taken by his parent to Indonesia.

He, as an adult, NEVER renounced his birthright as a natural born citizen, so everything else is moot.

But. . .just to make you feel better, I'm sure that the stupidity of birthers will not stop here, and that they will continue to try their ridiculous pursuit of a ridiculous hatred for this man.

I think it's all kind of funny! :D
