Did anyone force Barrack Obama to run for the office of the President? I don't remember seeing anyone pointing a gun at him.

Obama ran for office knowing what the problems were, so saying he inherited the mess is plain disingenuous.

He said numerous times he wanted to clean up the mess. Now he's complaining he's got a mess.

Seems to me he wants it both ways. Why doesn't he quit whining and blaimng Bush and do what he said he was going to do?

Bring the nation together.

It would appear {as with the constant WHINERS around here} that the vast sucking sound of pulling the GOP off of the TEAT OF AMERICAS PAY ALL/SPEND ALL FORMER 8 YEARS...THAT YOU JUST CAN'T STAND THE PAIN & AGONY THAT COMES WITH THE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO CHANGE THE AVALANCHE THAT FELL UPON THIS COUNTRY.

And if that can't get your attention...then do PLEASE, try to remember that the call to change the speed of falling rocks started a year ago this past September by the former administration and they all so very, very sadly missed the mark for honesty and full disclosure.

I didn't advocate for George Bush and his decisions. He is just as guilty. But Obama was in the Senate and did vote for the same policies he now criticizes Bush on.

I'm simply stating a fact that Obama knew what he was getting into, so why, does he continue to blame Bush. He was just as much involved in the first bailout that Bush was. As well s the majority of the House / Senate.

He needs to quit telling us he inherited a mess. He went out and ran to take on this mess, knowing fully, what the challenges were.

Obama has signed on to the IMF at the G20. He's also wanting to sign the international treaty giving the Unitied nations control over the U.S.

His comment is candid. It is frank. It's also the absolute truth. He did inherit the mess, the mess created by the Republicans who are now working to try to block all repair to the damage they've caused.

Before you try again to impress us with your use of big words, you might invest a little effort in learning their meaning.

My word selection is correct. He knew what he was getting into. He ran for office and put time and effort to get elected. He said he would fix what's broke in the system. He would clean up the lobbyist.

None of those things has happened. He's done nothing to change anything for the better. It seems as things are just getting worse.


As for blocking... so the stimulus plan was blocked?

Nope, that got passed. But it did not help. The stimulus was just used primarily as a payback to those that helped elect the democrats and going forward, to next year, where more is to be spent , to help democrats in the 2010 elections.

Obama is his worse enemy because he complained about the Repub spending during the campaign, and then he comes in and triples the deficit and is in a spending frenzy.

He needs to rely less on "socialistic" ideas to fix th economy. It's not working. It never works.

Just becuse you want to fix something, does not mean you can be held responsible for the problem that was already caused and for not fixing it with a magic wand.
