President Barack Obama will propose $12 billion in new federal spending for community colleges that the administration says will help prepare U.S. workers for 21st- century jobs.

Obama will announce his plan in a speech today at a community college in Michigan. His initiative is intended to stimulate renovations at schools, expand curricula and increase by five million the number community-college graduates in the country by 2020.

Sounds nice, but also wasteful. Presidents always spend money
on education with no returns. But the middle class pays whether they ever went to college or not.
That's unethical.

The problem is that these graduate will be unqualified for good jobs and there are now too few good jobs available, in this joke for an economy.
Graduate from better colleges are finding it very tough to land a job.
Guess what, they aren't paying back their loans either in record numbers. It's called CHANGE!

Quite possibly it will be throwing good money away on students that aren't serious in studying or learning. But it's an alternative to sitting unemployed I guess.

I think they will also dumb down the curricula. English will not be required, etc. for Hispanics. It's so predictable.
