I saw a McCain/Palin sticker on this guys SUV today... He had cut off the top half with "McCain" so all that was left was "Palin" on the sticker. :)

The momentum after the debate? According to the polls....Obama. Of course he had the momentum before the debate too. Lets take a look though:

    National Polls

    Rasmussen Tracking 10/02 - 10/04 3000 LV 51 44 Obama +7
    Gallup Tracking 10/01 - 10/03 2703 RV 50 42 Obama +8
    Hotline/FD Tracking 10/01 - 10/03 915 LV 48 41 Obama +7
    GW/Battleground Tracking 09/29 - 10/02 800 LV 49 46 Obama +3
    Marist 09/28 - 09/30 943 LV 49 44 Obama +5
    CBS News 09/27 - 09/30 769 LV 50 41 Obama +9

    ABC News/Wash Post 09/27 - 09/29 916 LV 50 46 Obama +4
    Pew Research 09/27 - 09/29 1181 LV 49 43 Obama +6
    Ipsos/McClatchy 09/26 - 09/29 1007 RV 48 45 Obama +3

BTW, what is Palin doing in California? It's not a state that is in the least bit competitive...it will be an easy Obama victory....but lets take a look at that too. Hmm, all the polls give Obama a lead of double digits with an RCP average of 13.3%. Seems like a rather odd tactic to send Palin to a state where they have no chance.

I don't think that those polls reflect any data from voters who watched the debate. If you recall, it took more than a couple of days before you noticed a bump after each party convention.

We'll see how the markets do this week. It all depends on economic news. However, I still don't see any double digits for Obama....

Why isn't he hitting it off the park yet?

I wish they would come to my communist town, I am sure they could get some people to go, I would.

Wow, that would be the 5th biggest city in Alaska or so. Either way, someone how the McCain campaign managed to hold a hometown rally for Sarah in the brand new Anchorage convention center. A whole whopping 300 showed up for it.

At the same time, 3 blocks away, 1200 Obama supporters rallied. Sarah is more poppular in Alaska than Obama is, but I hope for thier own sake, the GOP is better able to mobilize thier supporters when it matters.

The Obama bump is strictly due to the successful lib media disinformation campaign about the causes of the credit crisis - nothing more.
