Overspend-Obama has a Clinton flash back!

But believe this, the Dems are going to have to go to war with Iran in order to bring the economy back up.

I was all for only conservatives joining the service during the Bush years, republicans and conservatives out joined libs probably 10-1 maybe by more.
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo......probably!!!

Whatta bold....fact-free....commitment.

Tax cuts were good.
....And, tax-increases....especially after a Bush-in-Office....make the required-correction.

:p

Leftists think everything their guy does is great, no matter what.
Yeah.....Leftists, WORLD-WIDE!!!!!!

:p

"Bill Clinton stepped down as President of the United States on Saturday.

He has handed over a stable and flourishing economy to George W Bush, with the largest budget surplus in history and the lowest unemployment rate in more than 40 years."

....And, tax-increases....especially after a Bush-in-Office....make the required-correction.

You always post from the most ignorant cites. The legislative bill referred to in the post was killed. The democrats joined the republicans, in filibustering the bill. The new bill had must smaller tax increases, so as to be irrelevent.

The deficit actually increased between 1993 and 1995, at which point the republicans reigned in spending, which nearly balanced the budget.

Yeah.....Leftists, WORLD-WIDE!!!!!!

Yeah, I've already seen those leftist world wide. You know, the one in European Union that told Obama to shove it, and those Arabs who called him the "house negro". Oh yeah, leftist world wide love him. Meanwhile the other half the planet thinks he's an idiot like we do.

Tax cuts were good. Spending increases were bad. See, the problem is you think we're like leftists. Leftists think everything their guy does is great, no matter what. If he blows up an aspirin factory, hey he's wonderful! If he get's sucked on while the leader of the middle east is waiting outside, oh he's great! If he violates a few laws, commits a felony or two, it's all good, he's one of us!

Then when our guy is in power, you think we must be the same as you. Nope. We're not. We don't support everything our guy does, just because he's "our guy" or something. I never supported the Bailout, or Amnesty, or the massive overspending. I never did. And I said I was against Bush on those things. We're not like leftists. We have values that go beyond some guy that's in office.

Since "leftist" means "anyone who disagrees with my point of view", then, of course, you're not like the leftists. If you were, then you would have to be like anyone who disagrees with your point of view.

Great response... I can see the logic already.

You do realize that Hank's post isn't nearly as far-fetched as nearly all of your posts always are?

I hope my post is far-fetched, but look at what got the US out of the great depression. It wasn't the socialist "New Deal", it was war.

That's not even an answer. Nor does it even begin to explain the typical hypocrisy of the left.

Moreover, there are people who disagree with my point of view, yet are not leftist. There went that theory.

I guess that means.....the reason our present economic-situation is taking so long to work-thru, is because this Country's got too-many "conservative"-weenies who won't pull their-share-o'-the-load, right?

Unlike liberal idiots who don't realize what it cost to have their freedom, conservatives don't mind fighting for their country.

By the way I'm up and at work by 6 AM if not earlier. Unlike some liberal welfare queens I happen to know.

....Until the Middle-Class (finally) gets tired of "carrying" so much of the 1%ers' load.
You know, "Mr." Shaman, I don't think we as Americans and as a country can withstand much more of Clinton-era type changes. Take those famous 1%-ers that you're always complaining about...

...which graphs the share of capital income earned by top 1% and bottom 80%, 1979-2003...

Now... just why is it that they got such a huge boost during the Clinton era after decades of approximately a flat income percentage level?

Oh, yes, it's perfectly obvious that you don't understand the meaning of "false economy" and how that kind of thing always reaches up to bite one in the... derriere. Can you say... "Enron"? "Dot-com Bubble"?

You've still never answered why our National Debt (not the deficit) rose so dramatically (it essentially doubled) in terms of ounces of gold during the Clinton era:

I know... it requires somewhat more complex thought processes than you're used to devoting to analysis but let's put out a tad more effort, shall we? The reason why it's possibly significant is if the rest of the world decides they're through with propping up the dollar, then we're going to have to pay for foreign goods (like oil) with something tangible like... ?gold? ?manufactured goods at competitive prices?
