The female Dan Quayle? Could be. Hey, if you click on the link, check out Palin's answer to the abortion question..,.she makes no exception for rape or incest. What a complete B word, telling rape or incest victims they have to carry the remnants of a crime, therefore in essence enabling rapists and molesters. Anyway, back to the point...Palin's lack of knowledge:

In 2006, the Eagle Forum Alaska sent a questionnaire to all the state’s gubernatorial candidates, including Sarah Palin . From Palin’s response about the Pledge of Allegiance:

11. Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?
Palin: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.

However, the words “Under God” didn’t appear in the Pledge of Allegiance until 1954; the founding fathers had nothing to do with them. The Pledge itself, in fact, wasn’t even written until 1892.

C'mon Sarah, I realize you've been busy having babies and covering up for your daughter, not to mention illegally firing your brother in law and certainly being a member of the secessionist AIP didn't help, but still that's no excuse for not knowing the history of the country..

I hope you keep talking... you will win McCain the election. You're being kinda soft on Mrs. Palin though, dontchyathink? You and the other Socialists could step it up a bit, use some REALLY firery rhetoric, some REALLY extreme hyperbole, REALLY butcher the facts (as you've done with Bush) and then pat yourself on the back for a job well done! ;)

Pewwwww! :( The Popeye slur sewer gurgles once again ......

Gosh, was that stupid - whether or not women who are pregnant by a rapist elect to have an abortion has NOTHING to do with "enabling" rapists. As to the prohibition of abortion in those cases, the reasons and arguments for and against are philosophical and I would suspect FAR above your ability to engage in - best stick to your slurs.

Obviously, her point was a reference to the connection between religion and the preservation of the republic, a point made VERY clear in enumerable writings by the founding fathers. Blew over your defaming head. :D

Would have been better to abort everybody - right?

not to mention illegally firing your brother in law

Once again, you repeat the lie. Palin is under an ethics investigation ( not for illegally firing her broither in law :D) for allegedly pressuring the state safety commissioner. You also lied the other day that she "lawyered up" - actually, the state attorney general retained a lawyer as per the requirements of his job. The brother in law in question was dismissed for various illegal activities including making death threats. AND ANNNNNNND - the investigation was started by her opponent in her run for governor of alaska. In other words, a politically motivated witch hunt.

Your attacks on Palin remain (need it in your case even be said?) nothing but lies, slurs, and distortions.

By the way - who is paying you? You go about this slur/lie business just like somebody going to work. Every day, you show up with a new batch of defamations. I've never seen you discuss a single policy issue. Who are you working for??

Unfortunately Libs, once again you are misinformed...Palin hired a private lawyer over the weekend. Will the WSJ suffice as a source?

If a person believes that feti are people then making an exception for rape or incest would by hypocracy. Would you rather have a hypocrite in office and just another Washington insider who plays the power games or someone who actually draws logical conclusions from what they think? Meanwhile, Obama supports infanticide so he is either a hypocrite he must think that personhood begins after birth.

But the pledge takes the phrase from the Gettysburg address. And Lincoln in turn was inspired by both Thomas Jefferson and a biography of George Washington who were both founding fathers.

Caribou Barbie demoted/fired the person who was in charge of public safety because HE would not do her bidding and fire at her request her sisters husband an Alaska State Highway Patrolman. As he and Caribou Barbie's sister were going through a messy divorce and child custody fight!

Sounds like even though she is absolutely unqualified for VP she does have that Bush/Cheney thing down pretty good! Try and screw somebodies career up that you want to give a little pay back to. Then fire anybody else that gets in your way. Then Lawyer up. Then make them subpoena you to get any answers... yep that's actually exactly the Same.

Now I just heard on regular news Caribou Barbie has LOBBYIST & PREACHER problems.

This just keeps getting better!

I'm half expecting for CSI to come along at some point and find some old boyfriend of hers in a deep freezer hidden underneath her house where she's had him stashed for years.

Did nobody vet anything about this train wreck!!!!!!!!!!!

Did ya see the interview from just a couple weeks ago where she actually said...

What I'd like to do is know what does a Vice President do everyday? I'm used to doing things. Does a Vice President have things he actually has to do?

GOOD GRIEF!

Already Obama has done more stupid things than Dan Quayle ever did.
At least Mrs. Palin knows how many freaking states we have, where the great lakes are and what the difference is between vets and memorial day.

Your guy is the dufus, you dont like her because she is a woman.... hrmm seems so sexist to me! you didnt like clinton, now you dont like Palin.

and I think perhaps you think she is just a baby factory who doesnt abort her children nearly enough!

No, YOU are misinformed - that link referred to an ambiguously worded reference to a lawyer.

This one, from the same source, WSJ, is more clear:

Which brings us to Thomas Van Flein. For all those who have been focused on the announcement concerning her daughter’s pregnancy, there’s other news out today on Palin: that she’s lawyered up in an investigation into whether she acted ethically in dismissing Alaska’s public safety commissioner. That lawyer is Van Flein. Van Flein told an Anchorage news station that he was hired by the Department of Law because Attorney General Talis Colberg has a conflict of interest prohibiting him from representing Palin.

As anyone who knows ANYTHING about government would know (that would exclude YOU :D) - a government executive charged with malfeasance of office would be defended by the attorney general, or some other offical government lawyer. I suggest you not try to lecture me about government - instead stick to what you know best: LYING, SLURRING, DISTORTION, AND DEFAMATION.

Calling her caribou barbie shows what lefties think of women.

He was fired for being an alien from the planet xlaxes. OK, so we can't just make stuff up. The real reason:

Walt Monegan was fired because he refused to decrease the budget as directed. I don't know what they call it where you live but where I live refusing to do what your boss tells you to do is both insubordination and grounds for firing. Even though his was an at will job and she required no grounds for firing him.

Furthermore prior to being fired he had plans to take a job as Commissioner of Public Safety which is exactly what he did after being fired. Plans to quit a job often lead one to say disrespectful things to your boss and basically just be insubordinate - like he did.
