"You remember, ladies and gentlemen, when Clinton won the presidency in 1992, in that election, he said something like, "The era of greed and selfishness is over." He was talking about the eight years of prosperity, actually 12 years, well second-term Reagan and first-term Bush -- only term Bush. Eight years of prosperity -- "The era of greed and selfishness is over." Now after eight years of prosperity under Bush 43, we are again seeing the seething hate for profits. And this is -- the left never changes, it's who they are. You're never ever going to totally beat them back, that's why you can't give up any day."

No. It is exactly correct.

Thanks for posting another great Rush comment.

no kidding. one need look no farther than the dot com bubble to see it inaction. nobody could do a thnkg to control the mindless greed that drove those stocks lightyears past any sort of actual value.

and now that Obama is in the White House its time for "Wall Street II".

with the Fed takig over legitimizing bad paper as F&F can no longer afford to, get ready for the return of Toxic Assets. and dont forget, nothing ever happened to those toxic assets from the first go round. oddly enough, Obama's plan to cobble something together to have companies buy them up just never got off the ground. cant imagine why.
