    Well, I went ahead and did it. During my lunch I went over to the Capital and sat in on some of the action.

    It was pretty neat to see something like it.

    I did not need a rep escort. I just called a friend of mine on the hill and walked right in. It was pretty low key at this point I thought, but it was neat to see.

    It's "low key" because it is only political pandering by the republicans, that's all.

    Ha, when I say low key, there were still many people in there cheering for what they had to say.

    Even the democrats are reversing positions on drilling now, they cannot ignore what the majority of people want any longer for political reasons.

    Pelosi did not want to put democrats facing re-election is a bad situation. Many people say Republicans are in the pocket of "bigoil" but ignore that democrats get millions in funding from environmental lobbies. Going into an election, Pelosi cannot ask the democrats to make that vote, when they need their fundraising.

    Cant reporters get in so the people can know what Pelosi is trying to stop? seems like we all have a right to know

    Media doesn't have time for such foolishness. They are all to busy following obama hussein around reporting how many times he goes to the bathroom and other important related breaking news.
