It is quite normal for republicans to respond to sober verifiable statements like those made in the article because there really is no legitimate response.

It is kind of like a child just screaming and not being able to be reasoned with.

Just remember, Unite, that people who so are happy to condone such massive breaches of human rights that were hard won by brave people often wake up one day finding those breaches being committed against them.

But your post indicates that you don't think human rights extend to people who are accused of acts against the USA even if they are untrue.

One more difference between McCain and Bush: President McCain will not be in favor of torturing prisoners. Whether he is able to make it stop or not remains to be seen, but if he does no one will be able to call Republicans the "party of torture" with a straight face.
