Republicans, the party of torture

I quite like justice.

Not a big fan of deciding on guilt and sentence without fair trial.

You know those rights you used to have in the US but have now given up.

Just to point out to you, no US citizen has lost their rights without a trial.

Not normally. Sounds like you are afraid of anyone who might though! LMAO

How's that thong feeling? :D

One additional thought on this, wouldn't it be great if all you weenie boys were gathered up and given to the wonderful Iraqi terrorists who you foolishly defend??

Envision the part in the street in "Kite Runner".... *evil laugh*

your debate skills are impeccable, the way you just insult and yell and make no point at all. You must be a Republican :)

BigRob you are wrong.

All the government has to do is say you are suspected of terrorism and bang, you can go to jail for a long time with no trial.

PLC read the article and you will see that McCain supports torture.

And as for Unite, although nobody should really dignify your rants with a response, America has suffered less terrorism than pretty much any other country in the world so stick that in your crack pipe.

And for anyone who doubts that republicans think nothing of the torture of innocents, and in this case those helping the US, just read Unite's posts on this thread.

He/she is the living embodiment of why the world hates America

Actually every bill that is passed Congress has made sure that it is spelled out that US citizens retain all their rights as they normally get.

You've got a lot more confidence in government than I do. I think that, if we want to keep our rights, we had better exercise constant vigilance.

You have a lot of nerve questioning the military MEN who are defending your weenie a*s to get on this board and condemn them without being there firsthand for this incident!

What a piece of work you gaze at in the mirror every morning!

Go pull up your big boy pants honey, your VS thong is showing!!

Exactly. Go serve your country dawks, nuff said.

I have no confidence in government. That's why I'm opposed to Obama who I believe would gather more control to government. It's like the health care thing. The constitution has no provsion for health care, yet Obama says the constitution should be reinterpreted to include such things. That right there is the whole point. Every step we take in this direction of ignoring our constitution, mean we are closer to an oppressive government.

Now as it relates to this point, there are dozens of watch dog groups, and the rights of the American citizen, thus far are still protected by law.

Here's the problem. We have systematically allowed government to violate law, and nothing happens. Bill Clinton for example committed felonies in office. Al Gore had the infamous "no controlling legal authority".

This is the real danger. No politician will openly pass a bill that overtly removes our liberties. But if they don't follow the law and we do nothing, then all those bills on capital hill, whether they say they protect us or not, are all irrelevant.

If we will elect people who openly break the law, collecting money from Buddhist monks funded by Chi-Coms, why do you think you are protected by a law system that the government doesn't follow themselves? It didn't protect G. Flowers or Patricia Mendoza, did it?

You are correct as far as you go. Did you think that only Democrats bear watching, while Republicans are truly in favor of limited government and individual liberties? Are only Democrats corrupt?
