Rick Santorum doubled down Sunday on a campaign promise to crack down on the distribution of explicit pornography if elected president, saying exposure to the content "can be very damaging."
A position paper on Santorum's campaign website argues that current obscenity laws already prohibit the distribution of "hardcore (obscene) pornography," and that the Obama administration has failed to enforce these restrictions. As president, Santorum says he would instruct his attorney general to prosecute those who distribute content his administration deems "obscene."

We don't need another bible thumping, self righteous crusader out there removing freedom in the name of a god.

He is an idiot, and I'd rather vote for Obama that that douchbag.

I'm not a Santorum fan, but he is right about Porn. It "can be very damaging". It can destroy lives, just like alcohol and drugs.

Lack of self control, bad parenting, religious dogma... those destroy lives. Not porn, not booze, not bullets.

yes it can but it is protected by the 1st. that being said authorities can and should insure that participants are willing participants.

well booze is certainly a question of personal responsibility, bullets were not brought up, drugs were and fall under the same umbrella as booze. porn is not always just a business and in those cases (along with non consensual prostitution) is a problem that does cause real harm.

This is where I see christians as no real different than radical islamists.

I see plenty of difference

To not know the past of atrocities committed by the church, and in the name of the church, does not mean they did not happen. And oppressing people and limiting rights is all the same, no matter which religion does it.

This is appropriate...
