Modern cars don't really need to be tuned up. It's not like in the seventies when you had to tinker with the carburator and adjust the timing every month.
Anyway (as Big Rob said), why is it the government's job to tell us to inflate our tires and tune up our cars? Next we'll have presidential candidates warning us to look both ways when crossing streets and holding earnest debates on how often we should get our teeth cleaned.
