Eliot Spitzer, NY attorney general, has filed a lawsuit against some of the largest chip makers. Claiming that these companies colluded with one another to set prices higher. Doing so forced PC builders Dell, Gateway and others to raise prices on PC's or lower the amount of DRAM attached to the motherboard.

Everytime businesses collude and group up, the only people hurt are the consumers. All of this is in the same vein as two enemies joining forces to screw the consumer. Businesses should not be talking with other like-minded businesses. The CEO at one company is trying to eradicate the other through competition, why are you speaking with the enemy!
