The Iraqi Cabinet has APPROVED of President Obama's message!!!!!!!!!!!​

"The agreement sets June 30, 2009, as the deadline for U.S. troops to withdraw from all Iraqi cities and towns, Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said.

The date for all troops to leave Iraq will be December 31, 2011, he said.

These dates are "set and fixed" and are "not subject to the circumstances on the ground," he said."

That is GREAT that things are well enough that the troops can leave Iraq. Do they head straight to Afganastan or do they roll into Darfur next?

No denies the occupation was poorly executed. That is not the point. The point was what do you do at that point? The main options were leave, partition Iraq, or surge. We surged, and it worked.

This is not relevant to the surge or Iraq.

We are currently running cross border bombing runs against "Pakistan", did anyone expect they would not react in this manner? I have been saying it for awhile now on this board, cross border raids are putting Zardari in a hard spot, and are hurting our overall goals in Afghanistan.
