Supreme Court TV?

    This is kind of cool, there's a proposal to allow camera's inside Supreme Court proceedings. It would apply to "open sessions unless the justices decide with a majority vote that coverage in a particular case would violate a party's legal rights."

    Apparently there's some opposition because 1) the justices will be tempted to "get a sound bite on the evening news," 2) "potential witnesses... may refuse to cooperate," and 3) "we already have Judge Judy."

    I didn't make those up.

    But really, would anybody watch this? Does anyone watch C-SPAN? It's not going to be like "Law & Order: D.C." or anything.
